🌞 STEAM Summer Fun! 🌞
Today, our little learners explored the world of sand castles! 🏰 We read, discussed, and discovered how sand can be used to create amazing structures. Then, we put our creativity and science skills to work by building our own sand castles using materials from around the classroom.
To top off the fun, we made homemade moon sand using just three simple ingredients:
✨ 4 cups all-purpose flour
✨ ½ cup vegetable oil
✨ 2 tablespoons cornstarch
As the children mixed, scooped, molded, and created, they practiced important STEAM skills such as problem-solving, fine motor development, sensory exploration, and creative thinking.
