2015 Prayer Retreat Attendees Meeting

Good Afternoon Saints of God,

We will be having an Attendees Meeting tonight at 7:30 pm Central Standard Time and 8:30 pm Eastern Standard Time. We request that all retreat attendees be present on the call tonight for important retreat information for the 2015 Prayer Retreat starting Thursday, April 23, 2015 through Saturday, April 25, 2015.

The Role of Intercession

In my own personal spiritual pilgrimage, God has allowed me to come into relationship with those in the Body of Christ who are called to a greater level of intercessory prayer. God calls each of us to be intercessory prayer warriors, but there are individuals in the Body of Christ who are called to be frontline warriors and who are more skilled in the area of intercession. These individuals often can have a gift of prophecy as part of their intercessory anointing. Such appears to be the case of Agabus in the Book of Acts.

The problem is that we’re not always paying attention.Learning to hear the voice of God is the most important skill you could ever develop. The more you pay attention to Him and the inner promptings and impressions of the Holy Spirit, the more you will know Him and see His goodness and protection in your life. How would your life be different if every morning you would wake up and pray, “God, help my spiritual ears to be open and sensitive to Your voice. God, help me to hear what You’re saying today”?

Good Morning Saints, praise report of what the Monday Night Call have done for me. This call has made me fell whole again when I was broken. I had praying, loving peoples that stood in the gap for me, even call me on a consistent basis to pray with me. When I had lost my job and the holidays were approaching I received an encouraging card with funds enclosed to help meet my needs. I look forward to meeting with the Prayer Warriors and Intercessors every Monday Night to pray for our family and friends, our community, and our nation, and also received a rhema word that will help me that I can share with other throughout the week. This call is a Blessing to me.

I have attended every retreat that the Praying Without Ceasing Ministry has hosted. My testimony started from the first year. When I went up to the mountain top I was broken and hurt, but little did I know my journey going up would not be the same coming down. Yes it was a sacrifice, but his reward was great. My one-on-one session with God caused a shift in my life. I was delivered and set free from many obstacles in my life that was causing me to be separated from God. Every retreat after that up to now God have meet us there just like he said he would and allowed us to rest in him through prayer, praises, worshipping, and a right now word.

Two years ago out obedience to God I relocated to Texas from California to help my mother with recovery from knee surgery. In doing so I was faced with many challenges while embarking upon this journey. One of biggest challenges was assisting my mother with parental guidance of my troubled niece. I disciplined my niece for some out of control behavior and for doing so I had to undergo a legal battle regarding my actions. Although I was tested I still stood firm on God’s word “He will never leave us nor forsake us.” God even tells us to train up a child in the way they should go and when they get old they will not depart from it. Many times the enemy wants us to doubt God’s word or to twist it but we as believers must take a stand in the power of God. I’ve attended the Prayer Without Ceasing Ministry Retreat since 2010. While attending the retreat, I was filled with the Holy Ghost. This gift of speaking in tongues has given me “keeping and staying power” to fight the enemy and stand against the wiles of the wicked in my daily life. We need it! I am forever thankful to God for moving each year when we come together to worship him on one accord.
