What are you reaching for first every day?

In this message, Tony walks through Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:25-34 and challenges us to examine what truly has first place in our lives. From our phones and schedules to careers, finances, family, and reputation, many things compete for the priority seat of our hearts.

Jesus offers a different way:

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” — Matthew 6:33

This sermon explores how worry is often a symptom of divided loyalty, why what we seek reveals what we treasure, and how everything changes when we put God’s kingdom first. As Brookhaven Church continues the journey of Advancing the Kingdom, this message calls us to realign our priorities and trust the Father who already knows what we need.

Key Topics:
• Matthew 6:25-34
• Seek First the Kingdom
• Overcoming Worry and Anxiety
• Priorities and Spiritual Growth
• Trusting God’s Provision
• Advancing the Kingdom
• Following Jesus Daily

If this message encouraged you, be sure to like, subscribe, and share it with someone who needs the reminder to put first things first.

The Passover meal was always about remembering freedom from Egypt… but Jesus changed the meaning forever. 🍞🍷

“This is My body broken for you.”

In one moment, He shifted the focus from the lamb of the past to the sacrifice standing right in front of them. The bread was no longer just the “bread of affliction.” The cup was no longer just tradition. It became a call to remember Him.

Jesus didn’t just celebrate Passover.
He became the Passover Lamb. ✝️

Why would Jesus eagerly look forward to the night He would be betrayed? In this powerful Easter-season message, Pastor Glenn Meredith teaches from Luke 22 on Jesus’ final Passover meal with His disciples.

Discover how Jesus viewed the cross with a burning passion — not for the suffering, but for the salvation it would accomplish. Through the Passover lamb, the bread, and the cup, Jesus establishes the New Covenant and calls us to remember Him.

Key Verse:
“I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.” — Luke 22:15

This message will deepen your love and gratitude for Jesus, our true Passover Lamb.

CELEBRATION SUNDAY WAS INCREDIBLE!!! 🙌🔥

What a day in God’s house. From powerful worship to unforgettable moments together, yesterday was full of joy, faith, and expectation for what’s ahead.

As a church family, we made a bold declaration for the next 3 years:

“Lord, use us again!”

Use our church to reach more people.
Use our church to impact our community.
Use our church to change lives for His glory.

There was so much energy in the room and such a strong sense that God is just getting started. We’re beyond grateful for every person who celebrated with us yesterday and we cannot wait to see all God is going to do in this next season. ❤️

Celebrate with Brookhaven Church on Sunday, May 17th at our special outdoor Celebration Sunday service! We're setting up a massive tent right on our campus for one unified service at 10:30am — and it's going to be an incredible day together. Shuttle buses will run from Emerson High School, free lunch is provided, and kids will love the games and splash pad. During the service, we'll be taking a firstfruits offering and collecting faith commitment cards as we launch our Advancing the Kingdom campaign — with a live total announced at the end of the service. Can't make it in person? Watch online and give through our website or QR code, and your gift will be counted in the live total. Dress casual, bring your family, and come ready to celebrate what God is doing at Brookhaven!

God gave you gifts for a reason — and someone else’s life may be impacted when you choose to use them. 🙌

There’s nothing like serving others through the gifts God placed inside you. That’s where purpose grows, joy deepens, and you begin to realize: ✨“I was made for this.”✨

The Church isn’t built by a few people doing everything — it’s built by each of us bringing what God has given us.

If you’ve been looking for a place to get involved, this is your invitation. Step in. Serve others. Use your gifts. You might discover exactly what God created you for. 👉brookhavenchurch.link/serve👈
