Small change can make a BIG impact!

All September long, our friends at Bad Ass Coffee of McKinney are helping us recognize Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month by rounding up for Little Hearts of Hope!

When you stop in for your favorite coffee, simply round up your purchase at checkout. Those extra cents will help Little Hearts of Hope provide encouragement, creative expression, and HOPE to children who have a parent or sibling fighting cancer.

Cancer may be diagnosed in one child, but the impact reaches every child in the family.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the entire family is affected—including brothers and sisters.

Siblings may experience fear, sadness, anger, jealousy, loneliness, worry, and even guilt as their family navigates treatment and an uncertain future. They need support, too.

At Little Hearts of Hope, we come alongside children ages 4–14 who have a sibling fighting cancer, providing monthly Hope Packages that use creative expression, encouragement, and faith to help them process the difficult emotions they are experiencing.

During Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, you can help us make sure these children know they are seen, supported, and never alone.

You can make a difference by:

1. Sponsoring a child and helping provide ongoing Hope Packages
2. Joining our Prayer Team to pray for the children and families we serve
3. Hosting a supply drive to help fill upcoming Hope Packages

Together, we can bring HOPE to the siblings walking through childhood cancer alongside someone they love.

THE FINAL RESULTS ARE IN FOR THE BATTLE OF THE CHAMBERS!

After four weeks of friendly competition, we officially have a winner…

Drumroll please…

FRISCO TAKES THE WIN with 612 packages of Crayola markers!
McKINNEY finishes strong with 438 packages!

But the REAL winner? The kids we serve!

When we launched this challenge, we set a goal of collecting 750 packages of markers. You didn't just meet it. You blew it out of the water!

Together, you've already collected 1,050 packages of markers—and we've been told there are approximately 200 MORE packages from online orders still headed our way!

Every package collected helps Little Hearts of Hope bring encouragement, creative expression, and HOPE to children who have a parent or sibling fighting cancer.

A huge THANK YOU to the Frisco and McKinney Chambers, their members, and every person who donated, collected, ordered, shared, and cheered on their city!

What happens when God asks you to step into something that feels bigger—and more costly—than you ever imagined?

I recently had the privilege of joining Elizabeth Mahusay on the for a conversation about faith, fear, obedience, and the story behind Little Hearts of Hope.

We talked about walking through the loss of my husband while raising three young children, recognizing the gap in support for children affected by a loved one's cancer diagnosis, and how God ultimately used that painful season to lead me to create Little Hearts of Hope.

More than a decade later, I can look back and see God's faithfulness woven through a story I never would have chosen for myself.

This recognition means so much because it comes from our community — the families, volunteers, donors, prayer partners, businesses, and friends who believe in our mission.

WEEK 3 RESULTS ARE IN FOR THE BATTLE OF THE CHAMBERS!
After the third week of collections, McKinney has moved our of the lead with 236 packages of Crayola markers! Frisco is now in the lead with 398!

One more week of collections. Who will come out on top at the end of the collection drive? We are standing at 634 packages of markers for the month already. Let's see if we can hit 750!

Grab those Crayola markers and bring them to the Chamber meetings the entire month of August to help us fill our Hope Packages! Every package collected helps Little Hearts of Hoper bring encouragement, creative expression, and HOPE to children who have a parent or sibling fighting cancer.
