Well, it was difficult Wednesday night, Encounter, to be away from you. I am always thrilled when I get to see your faces, great about your lives, sing together, study the Word, talk about how Christ is working in us and using us, praying for one another, serving together, laughing together, playing games, ...wow, I didn't realize how much of my life you infiltrate. Needless to say, I can't wait to be back together with you again.
Today is a very different day than most of us have experienced. We now have time specifically assigned for us to spend with our families. If you are anything like my brothers and me, you are highly competitive and are clearly the most wonderful gift your parents could ever have imagined. So with that, I give you this challenge: do you think you have the ability to outperform your siblings and your parents in the kind acts each person does for the others? Probably one of your siblings I'd better equipped, better mannered, better versed. I challenge you to be the most creative member of your family in the kind acts you do for each member of your family. Go.
