Glenn Simmons

Glenn Ray Simmons, age 80, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on January 18, 2026. He was born on June 21, 1945, in Wylie, Texas, to Elsie Inez Jackson and Alvin Henry Simmons.

Hillcrest friends and family,

Current weather projections show probability for rain, sleet, and/or snowfall accumulation beginning Saturday and staying sub-freezing through Monday. Road and driving conditions can deteriorate quickly, especially overnight, and your safety is very important to us. We do not want to place our most valuable members at risk.

Remember, snow doesn’t cancel church — it just moves it to your living room. Therefore, please attend ONLINE Sunday services of your choice from home and remain safe from unpredictable road conditions. God willing we will assemble together again next Sunday, February 1, 2026 as usual and safely! 🤗

Our goal is to make wise decisions — so no one feels pressured to travel in unsafe conditions.

Today, Sunday, January 18, 2026, our beloved Father Glenn Simmons has victoriously entered eternal glory to reunite with his Savior, his wife, and precious little grandson. We are heartbroken, yet filled with hope. His Funeral Service will be announced soon, where we will celebrate our Father's life and ministry as a devoted Minister. We appreciate your love and support.
