WHAT TO DO WHEN THE THOUGHTS WON’T STOP

Your mind is the battleground. Labels, names, thoughts, temptations, and discouragement all get aimed there, one after another.

The enemy throws it on purpose, over and over, hoping something lands and stays.

Leave your mind unguarded, and that stuff is going to stick.

Protection is available. Strap the blood of Jesus over your mind.

Covering your mind with what Jesus has already done changes what's allowed to land there.

You need the Word on the inside too. Without it, this is a very difficult battle.

Two things hold the line: The blood of Jesus over your mind, and the Word of God living on the inside of you.

So what's been sticking lately? You don't have to keep fighting for your mind unguarded.

Have you ever said this: “It’s just how our family is." "We've always been like this."

Those lines get repeated until they sound like facts, but they started out as something one person believed about themselves.

What begins as a lie in one generation turns into a pattern of behavior in the next.

Left unchallenged long enough, a stronghold stops feeling like a fight and starts getting handed down like a family trait.

We accept it based on our history of being dominated by a label, so somewhere along the way, we quit fighting it.

Your kids are watching what you agree to, and the fear of handing them your struggle can become the exact reason you finally break it.

So what have you been calling normal in your family that God never called permanent?

God didn't create you to fail. He made you, and you are His workmanship, no matter what your last name has carried up to now.
