GOT A BROKEN RELATIONSHIP? JESUS SAYS DO THIS FIRST.

When it comes to broken relationships, we don't get to wait. We've got to initiate reconciliation.

In Matthew 5:23, Jesus says, "If you're offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go first. Be reconciled to your brother, then come and offer your gift."

So here's the litmus test. If we know someone has an offense against us, we go to them. And if we know we have an offense against them, we still go to them.

The higher principle is to protect the relationship. Go to them alone. Do it in private. Be honest about the fault, and work toward reconciliation.

But that takes speaking the truth in love with grace. Truth without love is destructive. Love without truth is deceptive.

That's why John 1 describes Jesus as full of truth and grace. He could tell the woman caught in adultery, "Neither do I accuse you," that's the grace. And then, "Go and sin no more," that's the truth.

THE DEEPEST LIE YOU'VE BELIEVED ABOUT YOURSELF

Proverbs 31:30 says, "A woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

But fearing the Lord doesn't mean being afraid of Him. It means living with deep reverence for Him.

At the center of biblical womanhood isn't perfection, performance, or appearance. It's a heart that reveres God.

To fear the Lord is to say: if Your Word says it, I believe it. If Your Word commands it, I obey it. And if Your Spirit leads me, I will follow.

But if we live for people's approval, we will constantly change depending on who is in the room. Proverbs 29:25 says, "Fear of man will prove to be a snare."

So we soften our convictions to fit in, silence truth to avoid conflict, and adjust who we are based on who is watching.

A woman who fears the Lord doesn't have to bend every time culture shifts. Her convictions are anchored deeper than public opinion.

And maybe the deepest lie we believe is this: who I am is simply not enough. But 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, "My grace is sufficient for you." In Christ, we are enough, because He is enough.
