America250 Food Trucks Now Reach All 50 States

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has partnered with faith and community leaders to feed families in celebration of America's 250th birthday in every state so far. By year's end, millions of meals will have been provided.

In North Texas, four trucks have been delivered to Fort Worth, Denton, Plano and Dallas. Another truck is scheduled to arrive in Tyler, Texas, around the July 4 holiday. Dallas got the 100th truck, see link in comments!

The Wylie missionaries participated in the Wylie Juneteenth celebration, sharing messages of hope and the love of our Savior. Happy Juneteenth to all as we reflect on freedom, community and love!

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will have a FamilySearch booth at the upcoming Juneteenth event at the Spellman Amphitheater in Forney. Volunteers will be available to help visitors learn how to research their ancestry and create a familysearch.org account.

Join us on June 20th from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Spellman for an evening of celebration, culture, and community. Enjoy live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities as we commemorate the historical significance of Juneteenth and reflect on the rich history and culture of the African American community.

This event is free and open to the public, though attendees are encouraged to register in advance.

Members of Richardson helped fill the shelves at 5 Loaves Ministries with boxes of mac and cheese. This donation will help area families through the summer. Hosting a food donation drive is a great way to directly help families in your area. Reach out to local food banks to see how you can help!

Because of your generosity, our shelves are stocked with one of the most requested items we provide to families. Mac & cheese may seem simple, but for many parents it's an easy meal, a familiar comfort food, and one less thing to worry about when budgets are stretched thin.

We are continually amazed by the way our community partners step up to meet needs and care for their neighbors. When churches, businesses, schools, and community groups come together, incredible things happen—and local families are the ones who benefit.
