Exactly 6 years ago at this very moment, I was laying down for a surgery with the possibility of me never seeing the light day again.
A lot of people have asked me what was the hardest part of the whole ordeal?
Some people thought the possible 18 month recovery would be the hardest part of the whole process, however I never really thought of that much. To me, that was just another day in the gym🤷🏼♂️.
Some people thought it would living partially deaf for the rest of my life. Now, I’m only single sided deaf, so it could be much worse, however this has been a lot harder to deal with than I thought it would be. Still, not the hardest.
Some people thought the consequences of suffering a minor stroke on the table would be the toughest to overcome. Thank the good Lord, my capabilities have returned to 99.999999%. Besides my eye sight slipping a bit and my eye drooping when I have been up longer than 13 hours, I’m good to go.
While some of those are tough, still not the toughest.
