One moment in God’s presence can give you what years of worry never could.

Peace.
Direction.
Strength.
Joy.

Stop chasing everything else and make room for Him.

Today, St. James has a Women in ministry conference.

What a powerful word from Pastor Deborah Bradford of New Jerusalem Baptist Church!

Her message, “Called to Be Fruitful,” reminded us that God never intended for us to simply exist—He created us to produce.

One of the most powerful illustrations of the day was the apple. 🍏 When we see an apple, God sees the seeds. When God sees the seeds, He sees orchards. In the same way, God sees gifts, purpose, ministries, dreams, and possibilities inside of us that we haven’t even discovered yet.

Some reminders that stayed with me:

✨ Remember who you are.
✨ Meekness is not weakness.
✨ Guard against the spirit of strife.
✨ Temperance is the deliberate choice to govern your emotions and actions.
✨ Seasoned saints can still produce fruit.
✨ You haven’t seen your best day yet.
✨ One word from God can change everything.

And perhaps the line that hit me the hardest:

“The trial you’re going through may not be punishment. It may be a contraction. Put your feet in the stirrups and PUSH.”

The pain of labor is temporary, but the fruit God is producing will be worth it.

Thank you, Pastor Bradford, for reminding us that we are called to be fruitful and that God doesn’t just see apples—He sees orchards. 🌳🍏🌳

On Sunday, Pastor Spearman spoke a powerful word.

People will come and go. Circumstances will change. Seasons will shift.

But there are three things God will never do:

He will never leave you.
He will never lie to you.
He will never stop loving you.

No matter what you’re facing, remember that God’s covenant is not based on your ability to hold on to Him—it’s based on His promise to hold on to you.

“When you can’t keep yourself, God keeps you.”

Psalm 145:13
