This past Saturday, Kantner Assembly of God joined us for our Adopt-A-Block outreach. This passionate group had the opportunity to share the Gospel through both their words and their actions.

For many, it was their very first experience serving in local missions, yet every person stepped out with compassion, boldness, and a heart to love people well.

This past Sunday we had the privilege of serving alongside Christian Life Church. Even in the midst of the rain, we were not deterred from seeking the one.

God opened incredible opportunities for us to serve and minister to those on our city streets and in homeless camps. Through prayer, conversations, and simple acts of love, we witnessed God moving in powerful ways.

The highlight of the evening came when one of our team members had the honor of leading someone to the Lord. There is nothing greater than seeing a life transformed by the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

This is why we exist — to make Jesus known and heaven full.

For five incredible days, 11 students from Chi Alpha Penn State Behrend poured themselves into serving and loving our neighborhood and city. They came with open hearts and willing hands, praying with people, sharing the Word of God, serving those in need, and showing the love of Christ in every moment.

Their compassion, humility, and joy inspired all of us. Whether through conversations on the streets, acts of kindness, or simply being present with people, they demonstrated what the Gospel truly looks like in action.

We are deeply grateful for the time we shared serving together, and we loved every moment alongside them. This week was a beautiful reminder that when the Church steps out in love, lives are impacted and hope is made visible. The Gospel was not only spoken it was displayed all week long. What a privilege it was to serve with Pastor James and our friends from Kantner Assembly today during our Adopt-A-Block outreach.

Our missions team was so blessed to serve alongside the Pittsburgh Dream Center this weekend. Thank you to Pastors Gary and Amanda and their incredible team for allowing us to come and be a part of what is happening in McKeesport! One block at a time. God is on the move.

Last night, we boldly prayed for 60 God-ordained conversations with people on the streets of our city and in homeless camps.
Our faithful God answered.
As we listened to stories, prayed with people, offered encouragement, and served with love, the Lord opened door after door for meaningful conversations filled with hope and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God powerfully used Chi Alpha Penn State Behrend and the young adults from Amplify Church to shine the light of Christ into places often marked by addiction, hopelessness, and uncertainty.
We encountered men and women searching for freedom, asking God for direction, and longing to know that they are seen, valued, and loved.
One of the greatest lessons God reminded us of is this: when we take time to truly listen to someone’s story and courageously share our own testimony, God moves in powerful ways.
Our testimony matters.
Our story of what Jesus has done carries the power to break chains and ignite hope.
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” Revelation 12:11
Thank You, Lord, for allowing us to be part of Your work. We are believing for many more transformed lives as the Gospel continues to reach the hurting and the forgotten.
