Feeling the call to know, love, and serve the Lord through each other, we gather to worship, to share in fellowship, to deepen our Catholic faith, and to serve our community. As ministers with a missionary spirit, we serve the people of Jackson C

ounty through emergency assistance, volunteer labor and care, youth programs, the Attic thrift store, and RCIA.

CHRISTMAS FORWARD 2024

At Christmas we celebrate God GIVING us Jesus in a very special way. We remember His Gift. We GIVE gifts to our family and friends and spend time with loved ones at Christmas.

In an effort to GIVE back to our community and spend time with our family, St. Paul is asking families participating in our Christmas program to complete 25 hours of community service (performed by the parents) and/or family development time (completed with the whole family.

Families can sign up until Dec. 3

Families must have custody of the children) they are signing up. The program is limited to children age 18 or younger

Each family must complete a total of 25 hours of community service and/or family development programs between their sign up date and the day of the Toy Sale, Sat. Dec. 14th.

Community Service and Family Development options could include

Attend programs at the JC Public Library (606) 287-8113

Go to a program at the UK Extension Office-(606) 287-7693 Help at the Jackson Co. Senior Center (606) 287-3766

GED classes and/or NCRC classes at the Adult Ed. building-(606) 287-3571

Meet with Daniel Boone's Job Coach, Alesia Brewer (606) 364-4484

Regularly attend appointments with Comp Care, HANDS, KCEOC, or other local agencies

Helping at the Attic Mon-Fri 8am to 2pm-call ahead first (606) 287-7601

Help at the JC Food Bank-Mon-Fri 12:30pm-2pm-call ahead first-(606) 287-8336

Talk with you the Family Resource Center at your child(ren)'s school

Cleaning at St. Paul or other churches (606) 287-7601

Heip at St. Paul's Craft & Lunch Sale on Dec. 7th from 9am-4pm (That's 7 hours and lunch is included!)

Participants will bring their completed timesheet with them on Sat. Dec. 14. A letter will be mailed telling families what time to come on the 14th Please make sure we have a mailing address!

All are welcome to the St. Paul Christmas Play on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 1pm.

Please come by the attic between 8:00 AM. and 2:00 PM. to sign up and pick up your timesheets!
