What Christmas hymn doesn't mention the birth of Jesus?

This beloved Christmas hymn was written around 1849 by Edmund Hamilton Sears, a pastor who longed for peace in turbulent times. Rather than focusing on the manger, the hymn reflects on the angels’ message of peace on earth and goodwill toward all—a message that still resonates deeply today.
