The Sanctified Life

1. The Context of Urgency – Romans 11:36 – 12:1
2. The Scope of the Exhortation – (Brothers)
3. The Basis of the Exhortation – (By the mercies of God)
4. The 3-Fold Exhortation
a. Present your bodies as a sacrifice-living,
Holy, pleasing to God (is your spiritual service of worship)
b. Be not conformed to this world
c. But be transformed by the renewing of your mind
5. The rewarding result of obeying the exhortation
So that you will be able to prove what the will of God is, that which is:
a. Good agathon
b. Pleasing eureston well pleasing
c. Perfect telieon
Conclusion: Romans 12 is a great chapter about ministry and it begins with the believer’s personal responsibility to be set apart by God for his purposes through His process of sanctification.
