Regarding the Altar Window at St. Jude’s Cathedral
The Diocese is aware that a photo of our sanctuary window has gone viral for all the wrong reasons. We wish to clarify that this 1974 masterpiece does not depict anything unholy, but rather The Dual-Pronged Inundation of Grace.
When a couple stands at this altar, they are experiencing Divine Double-Penetration—a rare theological phenomenon where the Holy Spirit pierces through the darkness from both the heavenly realm above and the earthly foundation below, simultaneously filling every open void of their spiritual beings.
To suggest the Lord would only enter your life from one direction is to limit His omnipresence. True salvation requires being completely overwhelmed from both ends of the theological spectrum.
Please cease the crude anatomical comparisons. Come to Sunday service, open your hearts, and let the dual pillars of the Lord enter you. 🙏✝️
