The history of Wesley Chapel United Methodist church dates back to the early years of the Emancipation Proclamation, organized in 1867. Through 29 pastors, four church names and three locations, Wesley Chapel has been an impactful presence in Henry County. Rich history and legacy has been carried through to the present. The beautiful church building erected in 2002 includes the bell from the 1880s

structure as well as the stained-glass windows from the 1920s structure. This exemplifies the church; honoring history and tradition while being a relevant, Christ-centered force in our today's world. We offer a multiplicity of ministries and programs are for all ages, from pre-schoolers to senior saints! Led by Rev. Dr. William Bert Neal III from 2013 to June 2022, the Wesley Chapel family flourished. Under Rev. Belinda McCastle, with God's help we will continue (as the Wesley mantra states) Restoring People to Wholeness, to impact our local community and the world!
