Very late post but still from the heart 💐

Word of Life Ministry would like to take a moment to give a huge shoutout to Women’s Month this past March. This month is so important because it honors the strength, resilience, and countless contributions women have made throughout history. From breaking barriers to nurturing families, leading communities, and walking boldly in purpose, women continue to shape the world in powerful ways.

We also want to give a very special thank you to First Lady Head for all that she does. Your leadership, grace, and dedication do not go unnoticed. You pour into others with such love and consistency, and it truly makes a difference.

Women’s Month is more than a celebration—it’s a reminder of how far women have come and the importance of continuing to uplift, support, and empower one another every single day.

“Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.” – Proverbs 31:25

Here’s to strong women, women of faith, and women walking boldly in their calling 💕

💙 Sunday, March 15 – True Blue: Loyalty 💙

It’s Women’s Month and this week we’re going ALL in.

True Blue isn’t just a color… it’s a commitment. A commitment to faithfulness. Courage when it’s hard. Staying planted when quitting would be easier. This Sunday we’re talking about loyalty to God — not just when it’s convenient, but when it costs something.

“His Lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23

Wear BLUE 💙 and come ready for a full service experience. We’re believing for strengthened faith, bold obedience, and hearts that say “Yes, Lord” without hesitation.

Join us in person at 10:00 AM

💗 Last Sunday at Word of Life Ministry, we celebrated A New Beginning—a time of healing, restoration, and fresh starts! 🌸 From the faith of the Samaritan Woman (John 4), we were reminded that God’s love meets us right where we are and gives us a new chapter.

💙 This Sunday, we go True Blue for Loyalty—honoring faithfulness, courage, and commitment to God. As it says in Proverbs 3:3-4, ‘Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.’ Let’s live this out together!

Join us in person or virtually at Word of Life Ministry, McDonough. All the info is in our bio—come ready to celebrate and grow in faith!

Behind every history book is a woman they didn’t talk about enough. This Women’s History Month, we’re turning the page. 📖👑

Dr. Mae Jemison — The Woman Who Reached for the Stars

In a world that often told women—and especially Black women—what they couldn’t be, Dr. Mae Jemison chose to define her own limits, trusting God to guide her path. Born on October 17, 1956, in Decatur and raised in Chicago, Mae’s curiosity about science and space was nurtured by her parents and her faith. She excelled academically, entering Stanford University at 16 and later becoming a physician after attending Cornell University Medical College.

Her dream of space never faded. In 1992, aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour, Mae Jemison became the first Black woman in space. Her courage and dedication reminded the world—and young girls everywhere—that with God, determination, and vision, no dream is too far. After NASA, she continued to inspire as an educator, innovator, and advocate, showing that faith and curiosity can move mountains.

Mae’s life testifies that with Jesus, women are not limited by society, expectations, or circumstance—they can rise above, break barriers, and shine as leaders in every field.

💗 Sunday, March 8 – A New Beginning 💗

It’s Women’s Month and this Sunday we’re leaning into healing, restoration, and fresh starts. Because with God, it’s never “too late” — it’s “turn the page.”

This will also be our Breast Cancer Awareness Sunday, honoring survivors, standing with fighters, and remembering those we love. We’re wearing PINK as a symbol of strength, faith, and hope.

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth.” – Isaiah 43:19

If you’ve been praying for healing… this is your Sunday.
If you’ve been believing for restoration… this is your Sunday.
If you need a fresh start… this is your Sunday.

❤️ Testimony from Blood Sunday – Women’s Month ❤️

Last Sunday was powerful. Blood Sunday reminded us that we are not just surviving — we are covered. There was breakthrough in the room. There were tears, there was worship, there was healing. We were reminded that the Blood still works — it still protects, it still redeems, and it still gives us access to grace we didn’t earn.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…” – Revelation 12:11

We didn’t just wear red — we walked in victory. And the testimonies are still unfolding.

💗 Now this Sunday… it’s Youth Sunday AND we’re wearing PINK! 💗

March 8 is the official International Women’s Day, a global celebration recognizing the social, economic, cultural, and spiritual impact of women around the world. Women’s History Month (celebrated all March long) highlights the contributions, resilience, and achievements of women across generations.

So yes — we’re honoring women.
Yes — we’re celebrating strength.
And yes — we’re letting the youth lead!

It’s going to be powerful, fresh, and full of purpose. Healing, hope, and a new generation rising in faith.

Wear your pink. Bring your praise. Support our youth. Celebrate women. And come expecting God to move again.
