Christmas Party is tomorrow morning 10:30 til noon on the covered porch. Button up, it's going to be chilly and maybe wet. We'll have Cookies and other delicious treats, hot cocoa, Strawberry Milk, Gifts and Prizes for all the neighbors.

We had a small volunteer team yesterday and 7 families for one of the last regular Grocery Delivery Days of the year. As the Lord would have it, one of our former team members stopped by to visit with a friend, and they are both Spanish speakers/readers, so they were able to help us with Teaching and Translating. One of the neighbors read the Story: The Favorite Son - the story of Joseph and his coat of many colors. We had a few kids, some snacks, a great discussion of the power of forgiveness, love and redemption, and a good time was had by all.

Texas Avenue CC was having a missional event (stuffing their annual Christmas gift boxes) and were already under the covered driveway when we arrived, so we set up at the office door, and the space worked out just fine for a cool overcast day with soggy grass.

Fall Festival 2022 was a gorgeous day and well attended by volunteers. Perhaps there were too many competing fun activities for a big Neighbor Turnout, but a good time was had by all. Here are pix taken by a couple of volunteers. If you have any, please share them.

Tacos in a Bag, Cookies and Dessert, Lemonade and Punch, Grocery Card raffle, and Cake Walk. Not pictured is Gourd Head Race, Three Legged Race, Sack Race, and various lawn games.

We had great weather and lots of fun. Probably the last picture I have of Josselin pregnant, as Isaiah made an early appearance on Wednesday.

Last Saturday, September 17. 2022

It was a great day in the neighborhood, we had some folks from the Campbell's Small Group join us, Zach gave the Story and a good time was had by all. 7 Families were served.

Please keep our ministry in your prayers as we continue to adapt to our new home, make adjustments to our format, and expand our services to other residents. We are now serving Rancho del Rey and Town Village Mobile Home Parks and the Shady Oaks Apartment Complex.

God is good, always to meet our needs. Jehovah Jireh.
