Reach-Restore-Remain

Sunday Worship is at 10:30am

This is what we believe as Nazarenes:
•We believe in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
•We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
•We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.

•We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
•We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race and that whosoever repents and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
•We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
•We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
•We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place. The beginnings of McCune Church of the Nazarene:
The McCune Church of the Nazarene was established in 1917 originally in Jacksonville, KS. The establishing of the church is almost as old as the Nazarene Church, which became a national denomination in 1908 at Pilot Point, TX. In 1928 the congregation moved to the community of McCune, KS and bought the Presbyterian church, which was built in 1880. The original church was the main sanctuary and has been remodeled many times with the fellowship hall being added around 1976. The town of McCune was laid out in 1879 by Issac McCune and was incorporated on October 8, 1881. McCune was established as a farming community and had what was at the time the largest grain elevator. A railroad at one time went through McCune.
