Home is supposed to be the place where you're known, welcomed, and loved. The amazing thing about God's grace is that He doesn't wait for us to have everything figured out before making His home with us. Through Christ, God's Spirit dwells within us, reminding us that we are never alone and never beyond His care.

This week we talked about the difference between human effort and the power of God’s Spirit.

Most of us know how to rely on horsepower. We push through long days, carry responsibilities, solve problems, and keep moving even when we are exhausted. But Pentecost reminds us that the church was never meant to run on effort alone.

Before the disciples preached, traveled, or changed lives, Jesus told them to wait.

Then came the wind.

The Holy Spirit brought courage to fearful people and purpose to uncertain people. Ordinary people suddenly found themselves doing extraordinary things — not because they had everything together, but because God was moving through them.

That may be the reminder many of us need right now.

We do not have to carry everything on our own shoulders. We do not have to force every answer or create momentum by ourselves. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is pause long enough to notice where God is already at work.

And when the Spirit moves, even ordinary people can become part of something bigger than themselves.

Reflection Question:
Are you running only on your own strength, or are you making space for God’s Spirit to guide you too?

Home.

A house becomes a home when someone lives there. Scripture reminds us that God has chosen to make His home with us.

This Sunday, Pastor Daniel explores what it means to be the Temple of the Holy Spirit and how God's presence shapes our words, our actions, and our lives.

Join us as we discover what it means to be God's home.

Acts 2:1–4

Pentecost began with wind.

Not a carefully organized plan. Not polished speeches. Just the Spirit of God moving through ordinary people.

And everything changed.

The good news is that God still works through ordinary people today. Tired people. Imperfect people. People who are still figuring things out.

Maybe the Spirit is closer than we think — quietly giving strength, courage, and hope for whatever comes next.

Reflection Question:
Where could you use a little fresh wind in your life right now?

Acts 1:6–11

The disciples wanted Jesus to explain the future.

Instead, Jesus gave them something better — a purpose.

“You will be my witnesses.”

Sometimes we spend so much time looking for answers that we miss the simple ways God is already calling us to live with kindness, courage, and hope right where we are.

Faith is not about having everything figured out. It is about taking the next faithful step.

Reflection Question:
What small step of faith might God be placing in front of you today?
