God’s word for today: 2 Corinthians 3:18 “ But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” I believe when we really see God as He really is, we discover who we truly are. As we gaze upon Christ and all that He done, we are changed from the inside out. This transformation doesn’t happen through our own self effort, but through the Holy Spirit. Beholding is intentional. It’s a posture of worship, the discipline of stillness alone with Him, and a deep desire to know Him in a greater way personally. When we do this we tune ourselves hearts to His heartbeat. When this happens transformation follows not just in character but in sensitivity to His Spirit. God’s voice is not reserved for the elite or the prophetic, but to every believer who dares to look deep into who Christ is. Let’s every day found the deeper things of God through His word. Jesus loves you and so do we.

God’s word for today. Joshua 1:8 “ This Book of the Law shall not depart from mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” I believe this passage reveals our growth begins when we make God’s Word a steady part of our every day lives. Growth doesn’t come from just reading it. Growth comes from our daily studying and meditating on it. I believe as we do that God’s word begins to transform and reshape our thoughts, our hearts, and minds. Solomon gives great insight where true knowledge begins. (Read Proverbs 1:7) When we approach reading God’s word with humility and awe, we begin to see life from God’s perspective, and Romans 12:2 calls us to let God transform us by changing the way we think, only Gods word can do. When this begins to happen, overtime our thoughts, choices, and habits align with God’s truth. Jesus loves you and so do we.

God’s word for today: Genesis 1:3 “ Then God said, Let there be light; and there was light.” As you read the Word of God you will see God Voice had power. He spoke, and the universe came into existence. (Genesis 1:1-3) That same Word that created light and life is still powerful and active today, speaking to hearts and shaping lives even today. (John 1:1-5) one of the exciting things about reading the Bible, is when we open it and begin to read it, we are not reading empty words. We are encountering the God who made everything, even us. God’s word is active, bringing hope where there’s despair and direction where there’s confusion. God’s word doesn’t just inform; it transforms. (Hebrews 1:1-3) Let’s make sure the word of God is going into our hearts daily. Jesus loves you and so do we.

God’s word for today: Luke 9:23 “ Then He said to them all, If anyone desires to come after me, let Him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” I believe if we are going to follow Jesus faithfully, we must consistently have a strong desire. Remember this; we will always have as much of Jesus in our lives as we want. The problem is never God revealing Himself to us. The problem many times it ‘s us allowing to many things to interfere into the time we need to spending time learning more about God. I believe the difficulty in our relationship with Jesus always belongs to us, never Him. The first part of are scripture today, reveals that has to be our desire and intention to follow Him. It determines how much we want to be His disciples. I believe the key to our consistency of growing into becoming Jesus disciples is our daily time we spend with Him and our obedience to be led by the Holy Spirit in everything we do. I can assure you that it is worth every effort it takes to follow Jesus. Step by step we grow every day with we have totally surrender our life to Him. Jesus loves you and so do we.

God’s word for today: James 4:10 “ Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. I believe as we come to before the Holy God as sinners, not as self righteous religionists, as Jesus spoke of in Luke 18:10-14, and appropriately humble ourselves before God. The James says that God will lift us up, because James said God resist the proud , but gives grace to the humble and grace, is that unmerited favor of God towards us even when we don’t deserve it. Let’s make sure daily that as we approach God wit do it In great humility. Jesus loves you and so do we.

God’s word for today: James 4:8 “ Draw near to God and He will near to you.” I believe the call to draw near to God is both an invitation and a promise. It is no good for us to submit to God’s authority and to resist the devil’s attack and then fail to draw near to God. We have been given the promise that God will draw need to us if we will draw near to Him. What a promise that the Almighty God, the Alpha and the Omega the God of the beginning and end would want to draw need us. let’s take every opportunity daily to draw near to Him. Jesus loves you and so do we.

God’s word for today: James 4:6 “ But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resist the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” James reveal that this grace that God gives only comes to the humble. We need to remember Grace and Pride are eternal enemies. Pride demands that God bless us in light of our merits, whether real or imagined. But grace will not come to us on the basis of anything in us good or bad , but only on the basis of who God is. Grace comes not because we deserve it, or can earn it or can by it. Grace comes from the finish work of Jesus at the cross. James very clearly gives a warning. James said God resist the proud. Let’s make sure we keep Pride does not creep back into our lives. Let’s keep a hearing ear to the Holy Spirit and if the Holy Spirit reveals there is pride in our lives, we repent and get rid of it. Jesus loves you and so do we.

God’s word for today: Isaiah 6:5 “ So I said : Wow is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, I thought what made Isaiah feel like he was undone. I believe that when Isaiah saw the angels in all their holy humility, obedience, and their praise to God, he realized not only that he was unlike the angels and unlike God that he had just been given the opportunity to see how Holy God really was and he realized just what kind of man he was, a man of unclean lips. I believe this what allowed God to use Isaiah in all the ways He did. When we face the truth we are all sinners in need of a Savior and surrender our lives to Him, that is when God can use us. Jesus loves you and so do we.

God’s word for today: Proverbs 31:10 “ Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.” I believe that Solomon in this passage describes the kind of wife the Christian man should pray for and seek after. Solomon is saying she is far above rubies I believe because she is a women who knows that her power and strength is given to her from almighty God. Her steps are guided by listening and doing that which the Holy Spirit reveals, and she has the heart to serve wherever God leads her. She also has a passion for her husband if she has one and a passion in leading her children in the ways of the Lord if she has children. Her heart is to be pleasing to the Lord, wherever, whenever, and however she can. She is a blessing to all that knows her. Jesus loves you and so do we.

God’s word for today: Proverbs 28:26” He who trust in his own heart is a fool, But whoever walks wisely will be delivered.” Today there is a strong urge promoted to us by the world, the flesh, and the devil to trust our own heart and to follow our heart instead of humbly receiving our values, morals, and wisdom from God’s word. We need to remember that trusting our own heart leads one to be a fool. We must never look for answers, values, and guidance from within, but look to the Lord. When we learn to walk wisely in complete assurance, trust and faith in the Lord and the word of God. We will be delivered from the cares of the world and the wisdom’s of the world. Jesus loves you and so do we.
