If anyone would like to make a salad for Keith and Pat Kleckler's Celebration of Life on Saturday, we will have the church kitchen open on Friday and Saturday morning for drop off in the refrigerator if you prefer to make it ahead of time. We will take them to the legion on Saturday.

Memorial Day reminds us of the words of Jesus:
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

Today we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. May we never forget their sacrifice, and may God bless the families who carry their memory in their hearts. Let us pray for peace, give thanks for freedom, and live each day with gratitude and faith.

Tomorrow we invite you to worship with us at 8:30 am and join us for Fellowship Hour immediately after the service.

Curt Knapp, a representative from our local chapter of The Gideons International, will be our guest speaker this Sunday.

We then invite everyone to attend the McConnell American Legion Memorial Day Service at 1:00 pm at the legion hall on Main Street.

A community picnic will be held right after the service at the legion and all are welcome to stay and eat.
