Waiting in Hope McCalla

Infertility can be a very isolating situation. Pregnancy announcements, ultrasound pictures, baby showers, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day…..these are all painful for those facing this struggle. These are all things that need to be celebrated, but that doesn’t make it easy.
In this new, upcoming ministry, we want to provide a “safe place” for women and couples going through the wait. A place where they can be among others with the same struggle. A safe place to share and be understood and loved. Our meetings will have a curriculum that has been developed by Christians who went through the fire themselves. This was created to help guide women purposefully through their journey.
We are excited to launch our ministry on April 27. Please help us get the word out by sharing this post. The information about the event is in the shared flier.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 27th. We'd love to see you at our launch event! This is a community event for all women facing infertility. There will be light refreshments and a chance to hear more about what the support group entails.

Did you know….

1 in 4 experience a miscarriage

Over 30 years ago, my husband and I struggled with infertility. We so desperately wanted children and tried for over 5 years before we were blessed with twins. During that time, I didn’t have the support of anyone who truly understood what I was going through. Since then, I have been able to minister to many individual women struggling in the same way. God has called me to begin a ministry to be able to help more women who are struggling with infertility/loss.

We are partnering with .in.hope to start this ministry at Tannehill Valley Baptist Church in McCalla, Alabama. We hope to provide support to those experiencing infertility and/or loss, not only within our church, but our community and surrounding areas as well.
