Our sweet Althea Lawrence is with the Lord. Pray for Craig, Pam, and family as they grieve and celebrate her homegoing. She was such an amazing person and will be greatly missed! There will be a memorial service on Tuesday at the church (11:00).

Also, please be in prayer for Ms. Judy Wesson and her family. Her son-in-law Larry passed away yesterday, and her grandson Jamie passed away this morning.

Big weekend with two special events. Saturday, our disc golf tournament begins at 10AM at Shadow Lake. Sunday night at 6:30, be sure to attend a special fifth-Sunday Night of Praise with RMLBC praise band.

I have been running high fever and feeling crummy the last few days, but on this Saturday morning, the Lord is allowing me to feel better. As I do, I am getting excited about our worship service tomorrow! We are entering new territory with Mark 14, where we find a woman worship Jesus extravagantly by breaking an expense alabaster jar and anointing Jesus body with the fragrant nard inside. The lessons from this story for us today are profound, and I can hardly wait to preach them. Come to church ready to worship Jesus like that woman did.
