Sometimes the hardest question isn’t “What did God bring me through?”
It’s “Why am I still carrying it?”

Pastor Rex gave us something worth thinking about today.

Maybe it’s hurt. Maybe it’s guilt. Maybe it’s disappointment. Maybe it’s something God handled a long time ago, but we never quite put it down.

🚨 TOMORROW’S FORECAST:

100% chance you’ll find a reason to stay home. 😂

The bed will suddenly feel extra comfortable.
The kids will move at approximately 0.4 miles per hour.
Someone will lose a shoe.
And 10:00 AM will somehow turn into 10:27 AM in six minutes.

COME ANYWAY.

Come sleepy.
Come running late.
Come with your coffee.
Come with the kids looking like they dressed themselves.

It’s Friday, but Sunday’s message is still worth thinking about.

What is something you’ve had a hard time completely placing in God’s hands?

Your plans? Your children? Your future? Your finances? A relationship? Something you’ve worked hard for?

Pastor Rex reminded us Sunday that the seed can’t become a harvest while we’re still holding onto it.

Sometimes surrender isn’t about losing something precious. It’s trusting that what is precious to us is safest in the hands of God.

They may look a little stick-figure fabulous here, but this crew shows up week after week ready to worship, serve, and use their gifts for the Lord.

We are so thankful for Brody, Ben, Savannah, Collin, Jordan, David, Faith, Camille, Wyatt, and Jacob and for the time, talent, practice, and heart they pour into worship at Restoration Church.

One team. One purpose. One King.

What if the very thing you’re holding onto the tightest is the very thing God is asking you to place in His hands?

“What is the most precious thing in your life, and are you willing to surrender that?”

Surrender isn’t saying it doesn’t matter. It’s saying, “God, this matters so much that I trust You with it.”

The seed held in your hand can never become a harvest. Sometimes the supernatural begins when we finally release what is precious and trust God with what happens next.

Give God the precious and watch Him do the supernatural.

Celebrating Our Teachers!

Yesterday, we had the privilege of recognizing three wonderful ladies who completed the Church of God 6-Month Teachers Training Program!

Their commitment to learning, growing, preparing themselves to teach, and serve others is something worth celebrating.

Teaching God’s Word is more than filling a position. It is an opportunity to plant seeds of faith that can make an eternal difference.

We are thankful for each of these ladies and their willingness to answer the call to serve.
