Yall, Wednesday night was one of those nights I’ll never forget. I’m starting to cry just writing this out…

Our students gathered around more than 50 backpacks that will soon be placed into the hands of children and families in our community. But before a single backpack leaves our church, it was covered in prayer.

It was reverent. It was emotional. It was deeply spiritual.

Every single student and leader physically laid their hands on every single backpack. They didn’t rush through it. They prayed over each one with sincerity, asking God to protect the child who will carry it, to strengthen their family, to provide for every need, and to reveal His love in a real and personal way. Many of our students openly wept as they prayed.

These aren’t just backpacks filled with school supplies. They’re reminders that someone cares, that a church is praying, and that God sees every child who will receive one.

Watching our students pour their hearts into this was a beautiful picture of what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We couldn’t be more proud of them. I’ve never seen them take something more serious. It moved me in a way I’m still trying to understand in my spirit. The words I type here will never convey what their spiritual sincerity meant to me.

Please join us in continuing to pray for every student and every family who will receive these backpacks. May this school year be marked by God’s protection, provision, wisdom, and peace.

Likewise, give God a moment of gratitude for a student group that is as bold as they are in faith 💪🏼

There is something incredibly encouraging about looking across the room and seeing students who aren’t worried about who’s watching.

Hands raised. Hearts open. Voices lifted.

In a world that constantly tells them to fit in, our students are choosing to stand out by unashamedly worshiping Jesus. They remind me that worship isn’t about a style, a song, or an emotion—it’s about surrendering our hearts to the One who is worthy.

I couldn’t be more proud of this group. Not because they’re perfect, but because they’re learning that following Christ is something to be lived boldly, not hidden quietly.

Keep worshiping. Keep pursuing Jesus. Keep leading by example. God is doing something special in this generation, and it’s a privilege to watch Him work.

I just want to take a minute and say how proud I am of this young man right here!

At 16 years old, it takes a lot of courage to stand in front of your peers and speak the Word of God, but last night, Joseph did exactly that. He was bold, genuine, and obedient to what God laid on his heart.

What impressed me most was that this wasn’t about performance or trying to sound impressive. You could tell he truly wanted God to speak through him, and He did. The message was timely, encouraging, challenging, and a blessing to everyone in the room.

It’s easy to blend in at that age. It’s easy to stay quiet. But Joseph chose to step out in faith, and I believe God honored that tonight.

I’m thankful to see young men who are unashamed of the Gospel and willing to let God use them. Joseph, keep pursuing the Lord and keep saying yes to Him. You impacted more people last night than you probably realize.

I’ve said this a thousand times, but this is my favorite thing about my group.

20 of them in the altar, all for the one who stepped out. There is never a single time a student I teach goes to the altar alone. The moment they step out and kneel, they are surrounded and covered by praying hands and hearts.

There is something special about this union that I pray they never lose.

Final Winterfest 2026 post… and honestly, this one is just gratitude ❤️

We’ve shared the laughs, the moments, and the memories — but what’s hard to fully capture is what God did in the middle of it all.

This trip wasn’t just an event on a calendar. It was a turning point in a lot of ways. We saw students worship, grow, open up, and step into something deeper than just a weekend away. And we got to watch friendships strengthen in a real, meaningful way.

That’s something you don’t take lightly.

To every student who went all in, every leader who poured out, and every person who supported us from home — thank you. You were part of something that mattered.

Winterfest 2026 is over… but what God started in it isn’t. 🙌

Apparently… one post wasn’t enough 😅📸
Turns out when you have this many great moments, you can’t keep them to yourself.

Round 2 of Winterfest 2026 because these memories deserve their moment 🙌

Every picture tells a story — the laughs, the friendships, the chaos, the moments you can’t really put into words… and the ones where God showed up in ways we won’t forget.

This group made the trip what it was.
Not just fun (even though… a LOT of fun), but meaningful.

Grateful for every single moment — and already counting down to the next one 👀

We know… we know… it’s been a month since Winterfest 2026 😅
But hey — life gets busy, schedules get crazy, and somehow this post kept saying “I’ll get to it tomorrow”…

…but it was WAY too special not to share ❤️

Winterfest 2026 was one for the books. From the laughs on the trip, to the late-night conversations, to the moments in worship where you could just feel God moving — it was powerful.

We didn’t just go on a trip… we grew.
Closer to each other.
Closer to God.

And that’s what it’s really about.

To everyone who made it happen — leaders, students, families, everyone who prayed and supported — THANK YOU. Seriously. You helped create something that mattered.

We had an absolute blast, and we’re still carrying those moments with us.

Now… we’ll try not to be a month late posting next time 😂
