The ministry of this congregation expresses its mission in the following ways:
Worship: We call and support a pastor to preach and teach God's holy, inspired Word in all its truth and purity and to administer the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion
in accord with our Lord's command. We respond to the Word and Sacraments with prayer, praise and thanksgiving. Nurture: We carry out an educat

ional ministry for children and adults in which faith and the knowledge of God's will are strengthened. Fellowship: We provide for fellowship between people of faith and commitment, since we are a people bound together as brothers and sisters of Christ (the family of God). Witness: We reach out to those who do not know Jesus Christ through direct contacts in our local community and through support of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Southwestern Texas Synod. Service: We provide an opportunity for each believer to serve God with the time, talents, and treasure which God has so graciously given. We also seek to be a good neighbor to the people of the community in which we live.
