Are we there yet? I remember asking my dad that as a child. I also remember hearing that from my kids. Who have their own kids now. Still hear it from my wife when we take a trip. Wonder how often Father God is asked that question? I know have asked Him many times.
Seems His answer is the same as my answer to my wife and kids. Be patient, enjoy the journey, we will be there soon enough.
Not all the roads are smooth or the views breath taking, but when we arrive it will all be WORTH the trip. Enjoy what you can, endure what you must, help where you can, encourage as your able to. Time and miles are passing faster than you think. Make good memories as you go for those with you on this journey of life. For soon enough we will be "There"

What's so good about getting older? Well you didn't die young for one! Hopefully you'll have learned a thing or two because you've seen a thing or two.
With that, should have memories of good times, times of needs being met. Times of God given Grace when you were really counting on Him to deliver you. He has many times for me when I knew I needed Him to. Yet, just how many times has God moved on our behalf when we weren't even aware we needed Him to? I recall a certain event, years ago, in a remote location out with family 4 wheeling Jeep and Bronco. It had rained making it more fun and challenging. Family was close and tight did everything together back then. My son 5 or 6 at the time got picked on a lot by his older cousins but he gave as good as he got. We stopped on a low water crossing that water was running over the top as well as through the buried tin horns, just to splash and wash some mud off. My two nephews enjoyed roughhousing with my son who was 4 -5 years younger, just made him tougher.
Any way my son slid into the upstream side near the tin horns which had logs jammed in them. My nephews quickly pulled my son out just before he went into the tin horn. I had not realized the dangers when I stopped. I did not know I had put anyone in danger. Yet I had, I wasn't prepared to save my son's life. Yet God's Grace saved my son's life that day ( oh, there have been many other days of salvation as well, Thank you Jesus) Now, he has 4 kids and if The Lord shall delay His coming I will have Great Grankids all because of Gods Grace when I didn't even know I needed it!
How about you? You may recall times you know God intervened ,so many close calls in your life. When not a sparrow can fall to the earth, and God knows it, how much more valuable to Him are you? Thank You Jesus! You matter, God has a plan and a purpose for you! He wants YOU in HIS Family whether anyone else seems to want you or your rejected by all. You are valuable to God. You can call to him even now, He will hear you, and if from your heart. He will answer!

How do you get really good at something? I mean REALLY GOOD! Practice? Desire? Talent? Natural Gifting? All of these for sure! Add Perseverance, Drive, and a Great Mentoring, NOW We're Talking! Making decisions you need to get data. Information or emotions. Cost vs benefit. Within budgeting or a waste.
There is the Pros vs Cons list to weigh in. Want vs need. We must make judgement calls all the time about all things pertaining to our lives and the pursuit of happiness. If you haven't thought about this, you need to take notice. Emotions travel faster than thoughts and reasoning. You "FEEL FASTER than you THINK" To many decisions are made entirely by emotions
Rather than thoughtful consideration.
Considering a Church Split I was reluctantly a part of years ago. ( I was not a combatant, I was however a young board member) I loved my Pastor, I loved our congregation. There were legitimate questions brought forth that needed to be addressed. I was called upon from both sides of the issues presented to JUDGE this! According to The Word of God, I had several concerns pertaining to these issues.
1st. Judge righteously
2nd With WHATEVER measure I used the same measurement would be used to measure ME. Careful with that one
Cause it CAN & WILL hurt if used
Willie-nillie
Which brought me to my final conclusion
3rd Who is WALKING IN LOVE?
Issues come and go, differences will arise. Mistakes are made, bad choices are acted upon. They CAN BE DELT WITH, if acknowledge, repentant hearts cool heads act together. Pride put aside!
As I decided to watch and see who was operating in love, to make my stand. I found peace. I know THAT is how I shall be JUDGED! That means no matter what is said or done to me or against me or even for me. IF I willingly and purposely operate in word and indeed by LOVE. Being JUDGED will have No Fear Here!
As children, mature sons and daughters of The Most High God. Author of The Holy Bible. A quote "They shall know you are mine, by your LOVE one for another" so guard with great diligence your Love Walk, keep your emotions in check, your ears listening for That still, small voice. Run your race to win casting off all those weights and cares that slow you down. Let's get really Jesus Is Coming For Us Soon!

Owning IT!

I am thankful for my possessions.I have everything I need. I lack for nothing. Sure, worked since we were kids, took time to accumulate things. I will defend what I own against those that would try to steal or destroy. I even have insurance to replace most everything, JUST in case I can not protect it myself!
I have no problem knowing my possessions from someone else's belongings. If possible I will defend my neighbors from a thief, even more another family members belongings. As a civilized people it is what is expected of its citizens. Wouldn't you agree?

So how about Your Faith? Do you own it? Have you invested time to develop it so you lack for nothing? (Great Faith is AVAILABLE) For Faith comes by hearing, and Hearing God's Word, builds your Faith. Everything we have need of, FAITH will produce, if we protect it, don't destroy it with our own words against our faith. " Let no double-minded man think he will receive anything from God, for He is unstable in all his ways" Protecting YOUR Faith from the nay-sayers, from fear and doubts is your duty. IF YOU OWN IT, You protect it.

Who doesn't like a good western? Or action movie of Good over evil? We like to be entertained and feel good about the outcome. We have no actuality INVESTED except emotions. Yet life is action, not a spectator, sitting on side lines. As children of God, we are to be DOERS of the Word, not just hears. We should be applying The Word to Work in our "western" our action packed living movie. After all, people are "watching to see the out come in a believers life" Let us so live that we instill ( Hope , encouragement, even a sense of awe)
When you see a bully meet True Power Under Control (humility) [ I liken this to bully giving his very best lick to our hero, then the hero taking it in stride smiling then responding " Now it's my turn" ] That sick look that comes upon the bully's face ..... PRICELESS. That is us!
That is the BRITHRIGHT of Child of God!
Cause our BIG BROTHER took that best shot from the Bully. He suffered, bleed and died. Devil thought he had done it, gave His best shot, put all he had into it, held nothing back, feeling pretty smug. Until he heard, " Is that the best you've got? NOW IT IS MY TURN! Jesus rose with the KEYS with ALL AUTHORITY in Heaven and Earth. Now has sent us to enforce that AUTHORITY by Speaking in The Name of Jesus. (Power of Attorney legal term same power to use the Name as the person of THAT name) You can and will, be challenged in your authority to use That Name. That authority is ONLY AVAILABLE to Those that are under The Blood, sins are washed away, clean and holy, children of The Most High! CHRISTIAN. So now we can apply James 1: 2-8 paraphrasing: be joyful when your attacked, smile, rise up say my turn devil, (Then call out in THE NAME OF JESUS speaking The Word) standing firm on the WORD in Faith of the WORD. Not doubting The WORD! You draw close to God, You RESIST the devil using The Word, you will see the Bully though he comes at you one way he will Flee from you in 7 ways. That always makes me smile, makes me full of joy = Joyfull. So Child of God: My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations: knowing this! The Answer is in The Word of God for whatever attack is brought against you.
Every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess "JESUS IS LORD" Yea!

Almost 30yrs ago I heard The Lord speaking to my heart! " Some day you will stand before Me, and give an account of what you did with the children I gave you. Your intentions have been good, but your follow through has always been, I will next week. You now have only 2 years left w/your daughter at home. NOW what are you going to do about It? I was hearing from GOD for myself. I had to respond. I ask my children were their friends went to church. That is where I took them that very Sunday. I got a word from GOD that very day. "WHAT YOU R LOOKING 4 U WILL FIND RIGHT HERE!" and did I! Changed me and my family to this very day! The Word preached and taught were not just words. It was in POWER, Life changing. I encourage you get some!
The Lord is a rewarder of those who diligently seek HIM!

TRASH TALKING GAINT!

Bullies come in all shapes and sizes
They manifest in different climates and locations all around the world. They pick on the small and the great. The rich and the poor. Male and female. (Your one or the other! )Matters not color of skin. Young or old. Bullies could not care less (Yes, that is how it is said) about any of those differings. Bullies operate by instilling FEAR ! If a bully can make you afraid, his plan of attack is to keep making you scared so that he can go on break, smoke a cigarette, drink a beer, take a nap, because now in His absence, his victim carries on a self imposed attack. Thinking and meditating to point of paralyzing FEAR. A Fear that stops you in your tracks.
SO HOW go you DEFEAT Bullies?
1st= Know WHO you are! Not what you think others think about you.
But Who GOD said you are!
2nd=Speaking to yourself. Not just thinking, .... saying out loud, hear it in your ears, your voice, saying what God said about you. (Like) Greater is HE who lives In me, then he who is in the world.
I can do ALL Things through Christ who strength Me!
My God is an ever present Help in time of trouble.
Jesus said, I will NEVER LEAVE YOU or Forsake you. (I will send another like me that will be with you. JESUS referring to The Holy Spirit)
By His Strips I am HEALED
Speaking The Word over and over until it down loads into your Spirit. Than it has power to manifest into ACTION of FAITH
3rd= After speaking to yourself and receiving strength. Speak to the Bully
Like Jesus did!
IT IS WRITTEN
God has not given me a spirit of fear!
I rebuke you devil, I will not receive it from you!
IT IS WRITTEN
God has given me power, Love, and a Sound mind!
IT IS WRITTEN
What I bind on earth, God will bind in heaven.
The point being, bullies are bullies, yet when they find out that we know that we can and will operate in courage the enemy has lost all advantages.
Courage is not the absence of Fear!
Courage is doing right in spite of the fear!
Much is happening around the world, seems so much uncertainty of how things will progress. Russia, Syrian, Iran. Korea. New World Order. Open borders. School shootings, unrest, rioting, police being targeted. News becoming an a front pushing and pulling people.
On personal level. Cancer, disease, divorce, death, job loss, or accident. The bully is speaking. We as a body of believers and as individuals have to decide. God's word IS ALIVE & TRUE.
or HE is DEAD & A LAIR. Our actions
Reveal what we believe! If not correct let us REPENT! Get it right!
He Is Coming Back For a Bride That Has Made HERSELF Ready! He has provided all we need in this day and in this hour, to BE GLORIOUS, without Wrinkle, or Blemish. What ever giant is in front of you! YOU MAKE IT FALL! BE BOLD AS A LION! toward one another HARMLESS AS A DOVE! I believe our finess hour as The Church on Earth is before us NOW!

It's a New Season. Winter is over, or at least on It's way out. Things that seemed dead are showing signs of life. There is more day light hanging around later in the evenings kinda expecting something good to happen and be there to shine on it. Hope is springing forth. I too have a renewed hope a future with promise. The possibilities are endless. The callings of God are resonating within my spirit. I am listening, I am looking, I am praying. I am excited, for I know a New Day is Dawning. A New Chapter is unfolding for Glenda and I.
I refuse to let it pass me by. At 80 Moses launched into His destiny. His whole life was preparing for it. Much like our 45th POTUS. His whole life was in preparation for His Destiny. We must pray for Him as He leads this country, and influences the Nations. At 63, I know my God has been preparing me for my Destiny. Change is coming quickly. To which I say " Yes Lord, as You lead me I will follow" Exciting adventures await! Expecting our home to soon be on the market.

My Grandpa was born 1900. He worked hard raised 9 children. Farmed, horse traded, and became an auctioneer. He was Colonel Red Springer. From Red Oak Ok. It has been said of him" He can load out a pickup like a truck, and a truck like a train" It's a gift, a talent, that has been passed on to me. Being able to pack things tightly in available space. There is a joke in Honduras " How many people will fit on a bus?" Answer = one more. I have seen doors and windows open with people hanging out. Still they say" room for one more. How about us, how much room do we have? Not your car or home, but in your HEART? As good a packer as I am, i can not pack a trailer that is already full of stuff. NO ROOM. Hate, anger, jealousy, envy, strife and hurt take up sooo much room GOD Himself can not pack anything into it. These things are not treasures we should hang on to, much less pass on as family HEIR LOOMS. Walking in life is like walking a stock farmers life. One day in cherry blossoms, next barn lot or pig pen. Takes a lotta soap to get rid of the smell. Smell won't take care of itself. While we can get used to it after awhile. Others will excuse themselves or will openly run away. God has a good plan and good things to pass to His family. HEIR LOOMS of great valve. The problem, we hold on to the stinkin thinkin and have no room or very little room. Let us ask Him to help us to reorganize and prioritize what has true value. Prepare, make room. HIS GLORY WILL FILL THE TEMPLE. Will it be you?

(Responding in Kind) if you have watched any T.V. news you have seen more anger, more resentment, more division, envy, strife. Communication has lost any sense of civillity. Honest debate? Fake News? Finger pointing? Fist pounding, face slapping, aggressive behavior, even rioting destroying property, private and public. Scandalous accusations, evidence revealed and evidence hidden. Charges brought and charges dropped. It really is easy to get caught in the raging river of human emotions concerning perceived RIGHT & WRONG. I too have slipped into swift current of events, even righteously by Bible believer "standards". Yet, as born again, child of The Most High God I have found myself as one of those who brought the woman caught in sin to Jesus. Quoting the Law of Moses " this woman is to be stoned to DEATH, what do You, JESUS, say? Jesus knelt and wrote something in the dust. As the accusers read what Jesus wrote, they dropped the stones from their hands and one by one they turned and walked away. I can only imagine what they saw written in the dust. Jesus agreed with them, and added " let he who is without SIN cast the 1st stone. After seeing THEY had sin, they left without one stone thrown. JESUS ask, where are your accusers? Her answer, "there are none" Jesus answer "neither do I accuse you, go your way, AND SIN NO MORE" if we will respond in KINDNESS and show forth The Love of God, praying spiritual eyes be opened, hard hearts be soften. That truth be revealed, those in deception and bo***ge be set free. We will change the very atmosphere of our nation. We will win our fight, but it will only be, by The Spirit, and not by flesh. Be kind one to another.
Don't take it personally. Identify with Jesus as He was rejected, beaten, mocked, spit upon, carrying His cross, then nailed to it, and as his last act of KINDNESS , " Father, forgive them, they do not know what they're doing. Likewise Steven, as a deacon of the Church, ministered both in word and deed. He was stoned to death, while Saul, who BECAME Paul (who wrote most of the New Testament) held the clothes of those stoning Steven. Steven's last act of KINDNESS " Father forgive them, lay not this charge upon them" (and I have trouble when someone cuts me off in traffic?) I am a work in progress, HE who began a good work, In me, will be faithful to complete it. Now, understand Jesus didn't agree WITH THE PEOPLE....HE AGREED with GOD. We should, too! Faith, Hope, Love! Check your supplies. Your going to need it more and more to respond in KIND!

I admit it. I admire my young coworkers who are faithful going to the gym and working out. I even agree with " NO pain NO gain" Pain and suffering are a price paid in exchange for desired results, be it upper body strength or endurance, it all comes at a price. Nothing is free, there are costs paid for everything of any value. While I am thankful I am physically able to do all the things I do. I must also admit I am NOT trying out for American Ninja or MMA. So I am not motivated to send 10 mins much less the hours, weeks and months require to bring this flesh into that kind of condition. Yet there is a race that I am running and I am planning to win a GREAT PRIZE. My entry fee was so high to get into this race I can not take it for granted that I must put forth my utmost to endure any and all pain put upon me. Either self induced or brought about by others. I don't know how long to the end of this race, or exactly where the finish line will appear I just know I have support . I have the best running buddy,. Come rain or shine, fair or fowl, hurting or even broken, HE is always there stirring, encouraging, even rebuking me when needed. Yes it can be painful, but there is that Runners High you get at certain times that makes you want more. Plus time spent with my friend is always high point of my day. Yet still there is Pain and pleasure for a job well done. I have counted the cost, I am all in whatever shall come. My trainer KNOWS EVERYTHING and my trust is completely IN HIM. He is excepting additional runners. It's simple call out JESUS, I NEED YOU! He paid your entry fee too! You in?
