🌟 Feast of St. Juliana Falconieri 🌟

"Make the Saints your friends."

St. Juliana Falconieri gave her life to prayer, charity, and service to the poor. Though she lived over 700 years ago, her example teaches a timeless lesson: we become like those we admire.

Most people compare themselves to the world and settle for mediocrity. The saints compare themselves to Christ and strive for holiness.

Who are your friends spiritually? Who are the people shaping your idea of what a Christian life should look like?

If the saints become our companions, their love of God, humility, patience, and generosity begin to influence us in ways we may not even realize.

🌹 St. Ephrem the Syrian: The Harp of the Holy Spirit 🌹

Did you know that one of the greatest Fathers of the Church wrote millions of lines of sacred poetry and was among the earliest witnesses to the holiness and purity of the Blessed Virgin Mary?

St. Ephrem the Syrian (†373), known as the "Harp of the Holy Spirit," composed beautiful hymns praising Our Lady centuries before the dogmatic definition of the Immaculate Conception.

One of his most famous lines reads:

"Only You, O Lord, and Your Mother are more beautiful than everything; for there is no blemish in You, nor any stain in Your Mother."

His love for Mary reminds us that devotion to the Mother of God is deeply rooted in the earliest Christian tradition.
