Sunday, June 14th is World Blood Donor Day!! THANK YOU to all of those who donate!!!

Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.

The Red Cross provides about 40% of our nation’s blood and blood components, all from generous volunteer donors. But supply can’t always meet demand because only about 3% of age-eligible people donate blood yearly.

Let us know by 6/14 call 608-767-3358, leave name & tie-dye class, if you want to participate. Bring pre-washed t-shirts or item you want to dye. Small cost for dye that will be provided.

As schools come to an end:

🌎 Reduce. Reuse. Give Back.

Did you know at the end of every school year, thousands of pounds of school supplies are thrown away, even though the supplies still have life to them! That notebook that only has a couple of used pages, the pencils and pens that still write, the scissors that are thrown away because they'll get a new pair next year — all of these items are so valuable to kids in Honduras who do not have the luxury of getting supplies every year.

Our church, Midland United Methodist Church, is collecting gently used and new school supplies to send through Midwest Mission to students in Honduras.

Instead of tossing unused items, donate them during our drive!
