Neighborhood United Methodist Church We believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior of sinners. We believe our mission is to go out into the world and make disciples.

Founded in 1897, Neighborhood United Methodist Church has been a vital part of Maywood’s community. You will find what you are looking for at Neighborhood. We are:
A church committed to preaching and teaching the word of God. A praise and worship church, giving God praise and honor. A community church, reaching out to our neighbors. A family church committed to our seniors, teens and children. The church family is a spirit-led congregation where everyone knows your name. We worship together, pray together, and work together in our community. We are a caring church, reaching outside ourselves to support each other in good times and in times of need. Neighborhood United Methodist Church welcomes you to worship, learn, and fellowship with us. We like to see new faces come back again and again. Our church doors are always open to you. We invite you to join us and make this your church home.

Come and Celebrate with Us! 🎶🙌🏾

The Olivet UMC Choir is ready to lift every voice and bring the joy, power, and spirit of music to the Anniversary Celebration of Neighborhood UMC (1817 Washington Blvd, Maywood) on Saturday, September 26th at 3:00 PM! We invite our Olivet faith family to come out, fill the room, and show our choir some love as they share their gifts in worship and celebration.
