🦅🎉 That’s a wrap on the 2025-2026 school year! 🎉🦅

As we close another incredible year at St. John’s Lutheran School, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the many blessings God has provided along the way. Together, we laughed, learned, worshiped, served, competed, celebrated, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

We extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated teachers and staff who faithfully invested their time, talents, and love into our students each day. Thank you to our families for your partnership, encouragement, and trust. Most importantly, thank you to our students for bringing joy, energy, curiosity, and faith into our classrooms and hallways every day.

This year, our theme was “Make a Joyful Noise” (Psalm 100:1), and what a joyful noise it has been! Through achievements, challenges, growth, and God’s abundant blessings, our school community has continued to shine as a place where faith, learning, and relationships thrive.

As summer begins, we pray that God grants each of you a safe, restful, and blessed break filled with family, fun, and opportunities to grow closer to Him. While it is always bittersweet to say goodbye for the summer, we are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back in August.

Thank you for a wonderful year. To God be the glory for all He has done through our SJLS family!

🎓 Congratulations to the St. John’s Lutheran School Class of 2026! 🎓

Last week we celebrated an incredible group of young men and women who have worked hard, grown in their faith, and left a lasting impact on our SJLS family. We are proud of all you have accomplished and excited to see where God leads you next.

As you begin this new chapter, remember that the lessons, friendships, and faith you have built here will continue to guide you. Always trust in the Lord’s plan for your life and use the gifts He has given you to serve others and glorify Him.

We will miss you dearly, but we know God has great things in store for each of you. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle! 🦅

Catching up on some end of the year posts.

This last week we celebrated Read-In Day.

We had a "spudtacular" line up of activities, read aloud, partner reading time, readers theatre, and fun snacks. Not to mention our happy potatoes we got to take home.

Celebrating Our Middle School Students!
We are so proud of our middle school students who were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments for the month of May.
✝️ Christian Leadership Award – honoring students who reflect Christ’s love by demonstrating a positive attitude, is a good role model, embodies the Friendzy theme, responsibility, and shows honesty.
📚 Academic Achievement Award – celebrating students who demonstrate dedication, strive for excellence, has great classroom participation, comes prepared for class, takes pride in their work, and may have shown academic progress.
Congratulations to all of our nominees and May’s recipients of the awards: Anna P & Eliza E. Your hard work and faith-filled examples shine brightly in our school community.

Tuesday night we celebrated our middle school students. There was great joy in receiving the accolades—letters, pins, ribbons, certificates, and applause. Yet, as meaningful as those honors are, what matters most is Jesus and the daily opportunities these students have had to grow closer to Him. Our prayer is that they continue to radiate the gifts, faith, and love the Lord has given them. Congratulations students!

Last night 8th graders got to enjoy the annual NERF night we like to do at the end of the year.

Everyone was plenty exhausted by the end, but for the most part, we walked away fairly intact and had an awesome time!

We pray this class continues to make memories with one another and remembers "once an eagle, always an eagle"!

Our amazing band performed for us this week to wrap up all their hard work this year. They showed incredible skill and growth this year and we are proud of how well they have done!
