Hello Everyone! Bruce and I wanted to give you an update on what is happening in our lives and how the Lord is leading us at this time.Many of you have loved and supported us over the years as the Lord led us to start a ministry called Refuge Ministries of Habersham, Inc. in Hollywood Ga. Most of you know our testimony of how the Lord performed a miracle for us to buy a large house for our residence and begin to take in Foster children and Youth Court service children.Christa was around 6 when we moved from Stephens county back to Habersham Ct. We went through many trials and troubles as we took in these children, but also joy that we could help. Our goal was always to get the children back with their parents if at all possible. We began to see the great need, as most of the children were from u***d mothers, to start a home for u***d mothers, not just pregnant women, but women that already had children and were struggling to raise their children. We took over the operation of the homeless shelters back behind the old Clarkesville Elementary School and continued to help men and women, boys and girls, whoever was in need. In 1999 the Lord performed another miracle for us and we were able to buy the house next door to ours and later It became Rebokah's House. The story is just too long to tell of all the miracles of God's keeping power He has brought us through many storms, trails and sorrows. Through it all,we have learned to trust in Jesus, we have learned to trust in God!!!! More later. Please like our page and hear the rest of the story.
