On September 11, we remember.

We remember the lives that were lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the courage of so many who ran toward danger to help others.

Days like this also remind us of the brevity of life. Scripture says that our life is “a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.” — James 4:14

None of us knows what tomorrow will bring. And yet, for those who belong to Christ, that truth does not leave us without hope.

Our hope is not found in the certainty of tomorrow, but in the certainty of Jesus Christ.

Through His death and resurrection, we have been given “a living hope.” — 1 Peter 1:3

So today, as we remember September 11, may we also remember what matters most. May we love deeply, forgive freely, live faithfully, and treasure the days God has given us.

And in a world where so much can change in a moment, may we hold firmly to the One who never changes.

Jesus Christ is our living hope.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

FAITH Outreach begins August 17!

FAITH is a practical way to learn how to share your faith and tell others about the hope of the Gospel. Each Monday evening will include dinner at 5:30 p.m., class at 6:15 p.m., and visitation at 6:45 p.m.

Whether you have shared your faith many times or are not sure where to begin, FAITH will help you grow more confident in talking with others about Jesus.
