Kristin Kellen (MA, EdD, PhD) will be the keynote speaker. She is an Associate Professor of Biblical Counseling and the Director of EdD studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Her focus is counseling children, teens, and their families. Kristin is the author of Counseling Women and the co-author of The Gospel for Disordered Lives and The Whole Woman. She is married to Josh and they have four children: David, Sophia, Joy Anna, and Elizabeth.

Matthew 14:22-33

I think we often focus on Peter walking on the water as the pivotal moment in this passage (among many). But, we can’t forget that Peter’s first move was to get out of the boat… is Jesus calling you to get out of the boat (to trust Him… to put your faith into action…)? Step 1… get out of the boat.
