Sweetly, Lord, have we heard Thee calling,
"Come, follow Me."
And we see where Thy footprints falling lead us to Thee.
Footprints of Jesus that make the pathway glow;
We will follow the steps of Jesus where'er they go.

Here's our worship service from May 31, 2026. God bless, and have a great week!

🌴Ohana Day 3: I Can Trust God’s Promises for My Family 👍🏻

“Love each other as brothers and sisters and honor others more than you do yourself.”
Romans 12:10

Today was the third night of our Ohana Vacation Bible School! ☀️ We started the evening on the playground 🛝 , playing with friends, and then came inside to learn about Noah.

Noah lived in a time when the people on Earth were full of evil. But Noah was different - he was the only person on Earth who was doing right things and obeying God. 🙏
God knew that things needed to change, so He told Noah that He was going to send a flood 💧 that would destroy everything on Earth. 🌍 He gave Noah very specific directions and told him to build a giant boat to help hold all of the animals. 🐿️🐄🐐🐍🐒🐅
Once the boat was finished, God began sending pairs of animals 🦍🦍to get onboard. He did this so that there would still be animals left on Earth after the flood! 💧 When all of the animals 🦜 were on the boat, Noah and his family went inside, too. Then it began to rain. 🌧️ It rained for forty days and forty nights! Then God sent a wind 💨 to dry up all the water, and it began to slowly go down.
When the boat came to rest on top of a mountain, ⛰️ Noah sent out a dove. 🕊️ The first time the dove came back because there was no place to land. The second time, it came back with a piece of an olive tree in its mouth. The third time the dove didn’t come back at all, and this meant that the flood was gone!
When God told Noah and his family that it was OK to leave the boat, they opened the door and saw a rainbow 🌈 that God had put in the sky. This rainbow was a sign of God’s promise to never flood the entire Earth 🌎 again. God has always kept this promise, and you can trust that He will keep all of the things He promises to us and our families in His Word. God always keeps His promises!

After our story, we visited Aloha Eats & Treats for snack. We enjoyed rainbow jello, cucumbers🥒 , carrots 🥕 , and goldfish 🐠 crackers. 😋

After snack, we reviewed the story, and had a Make-and-Take activity: water bottles! Then went outside for game time.

🌴Ohana Day 2: I Can Include Others In My Family

“Love each other as brothers and sisters and honor others more than you do yourself.”Romans 12:10

Today was the second night of our Ohana Vacation Bible School! ☀️We started the evening on the playground 🛝, playing with friends, and then came inside to learn about Cornelius & Peter.

God put each one of us into a family for many reasons, but one of those reasons was to tell other people about Him! 📣 Cornelius was a Roman army officer whose family was faithful to worship God and to give to anyone as they had a need! 🙏 One day when he was praying, an angel told Cornelius that he was to send some men right away to a town called Joppa and ask for a man named Peter.
When the men arrived, Peter was up on the roof praying. 🙏 He got really hungry and began to have a vision. He looked to heaven and saw a large white sheet coming down with all kinds of animals on it. 🐖🐄🫏🐐There were animals Peter had never been allowed to eat because of the Jewish law. 🚫

A voice spoke to Peter and said, “Get up and eat.” Peter was shocked! 😮 But, the voice spoke again and said, “If God says something is allowed, don’t say it isn’t!” This happened three different times! 😬

The men sent by Cornelius arrived at Peter’s house while he was still thinking about what he had seen and heard. The next day, Peter and the three men went to see Cornelius, who was waiting for them! He had called together all of his family and close friends to come hear what Peter had to say. 👂

During those times, Jews were supposed to stay away from Gentile people, and they were never supposed to enter a Gentile’s home. 🚫🏠 Peter told them, “God has shown me that He treats everyone the same. He accepts people from every nation. He accepts anyone who has respect for him and does what is right.”

Peter continued to explain that the good news of God’s love was for Cornelius’ family and all the Gentile people. ❤️ EVERYONE can follow God’s Son and be included in God’s family! 🙌🏻 The good news began to make its way across the whole world! 🌍

After our story, we visited Aloha Eats & Treats for snack. We enjoyed popcorn 🍿, cucumbers 🥒 and pineapple 🍍 . 😋

🌴 Ohana Day 1: I Can Pray for My Family 🙏

“Love each other as brothers and sisters and honor others more than you do yourself.”Romans 12:10

Today was the first night of our Ohana Vacation Bible School! ☀️ We started the evening on the playground 🛝 , playing with friends, and then came inside to learn about Jacob and Esau.

Esau and Jacob were twin brothers. Esau was born first and had red hair all over his body. He liked to hunt. 🏹Jacob was the younger brother and he liked to cook. 🍲

One day, Esau had been out hunting, and he came back home to find Jacob cooking a big pot of stew. Jacob saw how hungry Esau was and decided to play a mean trick
on him. Jacob told Esau that he could have some stew, but only if Esau would give him a special gift called the birthright. Esau was so hungry that he fell for the trick! Esau was tricked again, and gave his brother his blessing.

Esau was so mad 😡 that he wanted to hurt his brother! At first, Jacob may have been happy 😃 that he had his brother’s birthright and blessing, but in the end, he was sad 😢 because he had to run away from his family for a long time so that Esau wouldn’t hurt him.

Many years later, God told Jacob to go back to where his family lived. But he was scared that Esau would still be mad at him. So he prayed to God. 🙏 As it turned out, Esau was so happy to see his brother that he ran to him and gave him a hug and a kiss.

Jacob knew that God heard his prayers 🙏 to save him from his brother’s anger. Just like Jacob, we can pray for our family and know that God hears our prayers, too! ❤️

After our story, we visited Aloha Eats & Treats for snack. We enjoyed chocolate lava cupcakes 🧁, ice cream 🍨 and carrots. 😋

After snack, we reviewed the story, and then went outside for game time.
