OBSERVATIONS
-God has no favorites v34
-God accepts those who fear Him v35
-He is Lord of all v36
-Jesus healed all who were oppressed v38
-God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit v38
-Jesus died on a cross v39
-God raised Him from the dead v40
-God is in control
-Jesus judges the living and the dead v42
-If you believe, then your sins are forgiven v43

PRAYER
God, Thank you for being in control. Help us get to know Jesus more, share the gospel message of Jesus Christ and get baptized and encourage others to get baptized as an act of obedience. Amen.

What does God say about our relationship with the government?

Romans 13:1-7 Observations

o Be subject to governing authorities

That means your mayor, your senator, your city council, your state legislator, your president, your house of representatives and your police.

o Respect them
o Honor them
o Do what is good
o They are God’s servants and have responsibilities
o Pay your taxes and revenue
o Pray for them

God, You are Ruler of all. Sometimes we fail to see what your government servants do. Lord, help them, protect them, connect them with people that will help the bring peace to our cities. Comfort their families while they are out serving. Lord, I thank you for their service. Amen.

Vision 2025 is a call to reach every person for Jesus Christ in every town, every city, every state, and every nation.

Focus your praying this week on reaching people in your town and your city for Jesus Christ:

- Ask God to show you and your church that He is at work in your town and city in a sovereign way

- Ask God for His wisdom to understand anew the context of your town and city, to see the reality of the spiritual condition of the people, and to know God has brought them to your town and city to be reached for Jesus Christ

- Ask God to give your pastor and church a strategic vision to reach every person in your town and city for Jesus Christ

- Ask God to give your church a new boldness to prioritize evangelism, enlarge your vision, and move your church to fulfill this vision with focus and intentionality
