We had a great time last night, everyone! Just want to give some very well deserved "Thank You's" to sooooo many people who helped to make our Fall Fest a wonderful evening:
- Jerry & Jennifer Anthony for bringing the children's train rides! Always a highlight to the kids!!
- Those who had a hand in our meal: Denise, Janie, Jennifer, Betsy, Brenda, Frank and, of course, Bro. Ken for his famous ribs! ☺️
- Ms. Vonda for helping with set up and for manning the popcorn machine last night.
- Bro. James for faithfully bringing us those delicious boiled peanuts every year!
- Ms. Kitty who always makes sure our place looks gorgeous and also for her creative & beautiful works of face paint art!
- For those who are always there to help with the set up: Jordan, Brooke, Joshua, Sheri, Jason, Vonda, & Tbone!
- For those who helped to manage the Fishing pond last night!!! Jordan, Jessie and Sarah (y'all just don't know how much I appreciate y'all!!! 🥰 ) Special "kudos" to Jessie for learning how to make those fancy balloon swords in such a short time! The kids really enjoyed those!
- For everyone who donated candy and baked goods for our treat bags and our "cake walk"
- For everyone who stayed back to help us get cleaned up so we could get home for some much-needed rest! 🤗
- and last but not least at all is everyone who showed up and participated to make it a fun and festive night!

If I have forgotten anyone, someone please make sure to help me out by commenting below about anyone who really deserves a big shout out for their hard work. Y'all know my memory's not great! 🤣
Please forgive me if I did. Sometimes even coffee doesn't help.

But I'd like to make sure ya'll know how much I appreciate each and every one of you. This night definitely could not have happened without y'all!

Good morning, FT Perry!
Just want to remind everyone of our Fall Festival tomorrow at 5:00 PM

There will be food, games, face paint, treats - good fun and fellowship!
If weather permits - a train ride for the kids and a bonfire to close the night out with.

Whatever kind of day the Lord allows us to have tomorrow, we will - at the very least - spend a wonderful time enjoying the evening together and celebrating this autumn season. Every bit of goodness God gives us is something to be grateful for and we will rejoice in the LORD for His blessings as we head into this last quarter of the year! So much to thank Him for!!!!

Hello Ft Perry. Just want to remind y'all of a work day tomorrow. 8:30 AM. there will be breakfast 😋. I know we just had a work day last week, but since we're getting into our holiday season activities, this might be the last workday we can fit in for this year.
Just want to keep the momentum going on the family center while we still can and also maybe get some things ready for our fall fest for Oct 3rd.

Good afternoon Ft Perry. Just want to remind everyone of our work days tomorrow and next Saturday at 8:30 AM. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we won't be able to provide breakfast for tomorrow's workday. But we will try to have breakfast next week. Thank you for understanding and thank you in advance to all who will be able to come and help with the continued projects in the family center.

Hello, Ft Perry! IT's time for packing the Christmas boxes again! Our goal for 2026 is 150 boxes and we're about one-third of the way there. We have 3 options to be a part of this mission:
- GIVING MONEY ONLY: if you simply want to give money to fill a box, please give your money to Jordan and Brooke by the end of this month if possible because so many people are filling shoeboxes, so it gets difficult to shop for items by mid October. We estimate about $30/box to fill it (this includes shipping). If you need to write a check, please write it to Fort Perry & we can give Jordan and Brooke one lump sum to shop with.
- GIVING LOOSE ITEMS: If you cannot afford to fill a full box but would like to donate some items to help fill one, the Deadline for this is November 11th. Please be sure to check the Samaritan's Purse website (see below) OR get a brochure from Jordan or Brooke to know which items are allowed and not allowed in the shoeboxes.
- FILLING YOUR OWN BOX: you can get boxes from Jordan and Brooke any Sunday or Wednesday night at church and fill the boxes yourself. Filled boxes are due by November 15th. Please make sure you do not tape or seal the boxes in anyway. Just put a rubber band around the boxes. and don't forget to include the $10 shipping fee for each box that you fill.

Work was always part of God's original plan (Genesis 2:15) and will continue to be a part of God's kingdom. We were created for good works and even though it may not seem like it sometimes, the joy of being able to work affects us and the grief and depression from not being able or willing to work is also evident in our lives. So, with each passing year, we learn the value of work and the value of our dedicated workers!
Thank you to all the workers in every field who still honor the work ethics that continue to keep our communities thriving! We pray for God to continue to bless and keep all of you - to provide for you and protect you daily - and allow you a beautiful day to enjoy with your family and friends! Happy Labor Day!
