On Saturday, September 8, Mauckport will be hosting a chicken dinner. Plates will be $10 for 1/2 a chicken, 2 sides, dessert, and a drink. We will start serving at 4pm and go until the chicken runs out. Join us for a feast and fellowship!

We would like to take a group from our church and community to Holiday World's "Rock the World Christian Music Festival" on Saturday, August 25, featuring the band For King And Country. We would like to begin taking a count of how many people are interested in going to this event, which includes admission to the park and water park, and to the Christian concerts throughout the day, this Sunday. Please let us know if you are interested in going.

As the town of Mauckport, and our surrounding neighbors, assess and work to recover from the flooding of the Ohio River, Mauckport UMC will be here to support and help our family and friends. More than prayer, we will be the hands of Jesus in offering aid and care.

Our God is a very present help in trouble times (Psalm 46:1). He lifts us out of the slime, the mud, and the mire. He sets our feet on the Rock, and gives us a firm place to stand (Psalm 40:2).
