We have built a dangerous wall between our professional lives and our spiritual lives that the Bible never intended to exist. You were never meant to be a "Christian" on Sunday and a "worker" on Monday.
The Father is just as present in your data entry as He is in your worship service, and your difficult coworker is likely the most important mission field you will ever step into.
Work as Worship: Your 9 to 5 is not a distraction from your ministry; it IS your ministry.
Don't wait for a "sacred" moment to honor God. Start making your "mundane" moments sacred right where you are. God is just as present in your spreadsheet as He is in your sanctuary.
We often think that God only cares about what we do at church or in our prayer closet. But to Him, your work is an altar. When you show up with excellence, honesty, and a servant’s heart, you are preaching a sermon without saying a word. Your integrity in the office and your kindness in the grocery store are your primary mission fields.
It looks like:
✅ Refusing to participate in negativity or gossip at work today.
✅ Doing a task with 100% excellence even if no one is ever going to notice it.
✅ Praying for a difficult coworker or a stressful meeting before you enter the room.
Your calling is not a separate category from your career. Today, bring the light of the King into the corners of your industry that need it most. Excellence is your testimony, and your character is your calling card.
Go and make the mundane holy.
