Introducing Elder Candidate Warren Dale Perry:

The Family Worship Center elders have nominated Warren Dale Perry for eldership. In accordance with our bylaws, the nomination was presented last Sunday, October 18, and we asked everyone to pray about this decision.

FWC Members will vote Sunday, November 1, 2026, before the 10 a.m. worship service. If you are not a member and want to vote, please contact the church office this week. (217) 234-6022.

Warren and his wife, Kathy, have been married for more than 54 years. They have three sons and five grandchildren. After 42 years as a rural carrier with the Charleston Post Office, Warren retired and has been part of Family Worship Center with Kathy for several years.

Warren has served other churches as an elder, board chairman, financial secretary, youth leader, and member of a Pastoral Relations Committee. He’s excited about Family Worship Center’s future and ready to serve again.

Please continue to pray as we prepare for this important decision. If you have questions, please contact us.

FWC SERMON SERIES:
ESTHER: CROWNED IN THE CHAOS
WEEK 5: It’s Not The End of The Story
Sunday, October 11, 2026
Pastor Brad Brown

Sermon Recap:

In the final week of the Esther series, we’re reminded that it’s never too late to keep trusting God and praying for change. Esther’s story shows how God can turn a seemingly final situation around, even when the pain and circumstances are real. The sermon connects Esther’s deliverance to the gospel: through Jesus, sin and death do not get the final word.

It encourages us not to define ourselves by hardship, failure, or the enemy’s accusations, but to trust in God’s grace and power. Even when we can’t see what God is doing, faith means continuing to trust that He is at work.

JOSEPH HABEDANK
CONCERT POSTPONED!

Tomorrow evening's (10/8) show is canceled because Joseph and Lindsay's twins arrived early! Please pray for this growing family, and thank you for supporting DAD in being home with his wife and newborns. ❤️

We're working on a new date and will share it as soon as it's confirmed. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

A PERSONAL NOTE FROM JOSEPH'S OFFICE:

"Joseph and his family have welcomed twins! These little ones decided to make their grand entrance a bit earlier than expected, so the past few weeks have been filled with plenty of love, excitement, and, understandably, a whole lot of adjusting!

The good news is that the twins are doing well, and the family just made it home this week!

With all of that happening a little sooner than planned, we have decided to POSTPONE THE UPCOMING SHOW so Joseph can have some much-needed time at home with his growing family.

We know this may be disappointing, and we truly appreciate your understanding and patience. We promise we're working on a new date and will share it with you as soon as it is confirmed."

Thank you for your love, grace, and support!
Stay tuned for the new date. ❤️

FWC SERMON SERIES:
ESTHER: CROWNED IN THE CHAOS

WEEK 4: When No One Notices
Sunday, October 4, 2026
Pastor Brad Brown

Sermon Recap:

Week 4 of Esther, "When No One Notices," picks up with Esther bravely approaching the king and then holding off on her request while God works behind the scenes. The king couldn't sleep, asked for the record book, and found out that Mordecai's good deed from years earlier had never been rewarded. Haman, who was busy planning to hang Mordecai, ended up having to parade him through the streets in honor instead. In the end, Esther revealed Haman's plot, and Haman was executed on the same gallows he built for Mordecai. The big takeaway is that what people overlook, God never forgets, so your quiet faithfulness matters, and He isn't finished yet
