Join Us as We Celebrate the Life of Doug Helgesen
Mattituck Presbyterian Church invites you to a Memorial Service honoring the life and legacy of Doug Helgesen on Saturday, October 3, at 3:00 PM.
Doug was a dedicated youth leader at Mattituck Presbyterian Church for many years, investing his time and heart into the lives of countless young people. In addition to his years of service as a youth leader, Doug spent 21 years working at Maryhaven Center for Hope, where he took pride in supporting the facility and its mission of serving individuals with special needs. He was a beloved friend and member of the Mattituck Presbyterian Worship Team, where he played his bass guitar. Through both his ministry and his profession, Doug touched many lives with compassion, kindness, and friendship.
We are especially hoping to reconnect with former youth group members who knew Doug. Whether it has been a few years or many decades, we would love for you to join us as we gather to remember, celebrate, and give thanks for Doug's life.
