To know God's will for our life we must seek the Lord through His Word. As we abandon wordly reason and understanding, through seeking God in His Word, we are filled with the knowldege and wisdom of God that produces peace, clarity, and direction.

We gather together on the Lord's Day to worship our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! May we protect and prioritize this day in honor and reverence of God almighty.

"Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching." - Hebrews 10:23-25

May we all strive to commune with God, through prayer, in the mornings He so graciously gives.

No matter the trial, test, persecution, or discipline the Lord brings into the lives of His children, those who are in Chirst have reason to rejoice. For we know that even in our suffering, there is nothing that will seperate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord!

This morning we celebrated the baptism of Francisco! Two months ago, Francisco attended our young adult's Bible study on Tuesday evenings. Through hearing the Word of God being taught, Francisco came to an understanding of his need for repentance and forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ. Upon receiving salvation, Francisco desired to partake in believer's baptism for his public profession of faith and to join our local church body. Praise be to God for His saving power and for Francisco's continual discipleship through the Word of God!

The biblical account of Rahab gives hope to those who are seperated from God. Through repentance and faith, the grace of God extends to those who are strangers and exiles bringing salvation and hope through the cross of Jesus Christ.

This week our students had their annual ‘Beach Retreat' at Garden City Chapel!

While there, they studied various encounters Jesus had with individuals throughout John's gospel account. Also, they enjoyed God's creation, growing in their love for one another, and having a lot of fun and laughs along the way.

We are thankful for their lives and to make disciples of the next generation for God's glory!
