What a great week of Vacation Bible School! Thank you to all our children and volunteers for making this year's VBS a week that glorified God and proclaimed Jesus as the light of the world.

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." - John 8:12

What a morning as we celebrated Baptism Sunday!

Today, 11 people took their next step with Jesus and publicly declared their faith in Jesus through baptism.

Buried with Christ in baptism. Raised to walk in newness of life.

The grace of God's salvation for our lives compels us to forsake sin and pursue righteousness.

For we have been raised to new life in his name. The old has passed away, and the new has come.

What a great way to end the school year with our annual spring picnic for weekday preschool! We pray that our families have a blessed summer enjoying God's creation and growing in their love for Jesus and one another.

Like Mary and Martha, God desires for us to bring our griefs, sorrows, and dissapointments to Him. Not only does Jesus know our situation, but he is soverign Lord over any trial we face. For he alone is given all power and authority over life and death.

"Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.” - John 11:25-27

May we take comfort in knowing the Lord Jesus Christ is our good shepherd that protects, keeps, and seeks out his sheep for the Father's glory.
