This week, in our IRL (In Real Life) series, we talked about Trusting Through Transition, Not Walking Alone, and Treasuring Jesus. As we enter new seasons, we may not always know what is ahead, but we can trust the God who does. When life changes, God reminds us that we were never meant to walk through it alone. He gives us Christian community to encourage us, challenge us, and point us back to Him. And through every transition, we are called to keep Jesus at the center by making knowing and treasuring Him our greatest pursuit.
We’d love for you to practice what you learned this week by taking simple steps like…

• Trust God with what’s next. Identify one area of uncertainty in your life and intentionally surrender it to God in prayer.
• Don’t walk alone. Find people who will encourage your faith, challenge you to grow, and point you back to Jesus, and be that kind of friend for someone else.
• Treasure Jesus. Spend intentional time in God’s Word and prayer, not simply to check a box, but to genuinely know Jesus more deeply.
• Keep Jesus at the center. As you enter this next season, ask God to make knowing and loving Him your greatest pursuit, whatever comes your way.

This week, in our IRL (In Real Life) series, we talked about Training at the Oasis. An oasis is a place of rest, refreshment, and preparation in the middle of the desert. In the same way, God invites us to come to Him as our source of Living Water, training us to become more like Christ before sending us back into the places where He has called us to live on mission. As we spend time in God’s presence, we are refreshed, transformed through obedience, and equipped to faithfully follow Him wherever He leads.
We’d love for you to practice what you learned this week by taking simple steps like…

• Spend time with Jesus each day through His Word and prayer, allowing Him to satisfy the deepest needs of your heart.
• Identify one truth God has been teaching you and intentionally put it into practice this week instead of simply knowing it.
• Find a Christian community, mentor, or friend who will encourage you to continue growing in your faith this school year.
• Pray for one person you can encourage or share the hope of Christ with as you leave the “oasis” and step into your everyday life.

This week in Small Group, we talked about what it means to identify God’s truth, walk in obedience, and seek His guidance through the Holy Spirit. In a world full of competing voices, God’s Word is the only unchanging source of truth. As we spend time in Scripture and choose obedience, God gives us the discernment to recognize deception, trust His direction, and live in the righteousness He is producing in us.
We’d love for you to practice what you learned this week by taking simple steps like…

• Pray through Philippians 1:9–11, asking God for wisdom, discernment, and the courage to obey
• Talk with a parent, mentor, or trusted adult about a decision you’re facing and ask for biblical wisdom
• Revisit your Sunday morning prayer prompts and ask God to help you follow through in obedience
• Spend time in God’s Word this week, allowing His truth to shape your decisions

This week in Small Group, we talked about unity and what it means to live as one body in Christ. Jesus didn’t just tell us to pursue unity, He modeled it. As we grow closer to Him, we become more humble, more loving, and more intentional about building others up. True unity isn’t about being the same, it’s about being centered on Christ.

• Read John 17:20–23 and Colossians 3:12–14
• Encourage or serve someone this week
• Take the first step toward forgiveness or reconciliation
• Ask yourself: Am I helping create unity, or contributing to division?

This week in Small Group, we talked about Duty, Discipline, & Delight. Reading God’s Word doesn’t always begin with delight, it often begins with discipline. But as we consistently spend time with God, He grows our love for His Word and transforms our hearts. The goal isn’t just to know more about God, but to know God more.

• Read Psalm 19:7–9 and Psalm 119:97–114
• Spend intentional time in God’s Word each day
• Replace one distraction with time in Scripture
• Ask God to move your heart from duty, to discipline, to delight.

This week in Small Group, we reflected on what it means to keep seeking and proclaiming God’s greatness after Camp Carmel. Camp is not the destination, the King is. As we return to everyday life, Jesus calls us to seek His Kingdom first, proclaim His greatness, and live intentionally for Him.
