It’s time to begin learning Psalm 23! Check out the video to hear the verse, practice some motions, and learn a little more about what this first verse is all about! Make sure you stop by the Verse Table today to pick up a pack of verse cards for your family as well as a fun coloring sheet for your Preschooler to color this month. And EVERY Sunday morning, your child has an opportunity to say the verse at the Verse Table and add a sticker by their name on our Verse Chart. We LOVE to encourage each and every family to learn God’s Word together!

Is your Preschooler ready to find out how the Good News of Jesus travels the globe? Join us for Midweek Missions! Each Wednesday night Carmel Baptist Church we’ll discover more about missions at home and around the world with fun teaching, games, music, snack, and much more! Midweek kicks off tomorrow night and so does our NEW parenting class, Purposeful Parenting! Based on the book Purposeful and Persistent Parenting by John and Cindy Raquet, this Wednesday night small group focuses on creating intentional, grace-filled homes where parents confidently shepherd their children according to the Word of God. We’ll discuss practical tips on creating schedules, Bible memory and reading, discipline and consequences, and building family culture. Whether you are navigating the sleepless newborn phase, the challenging toddler years, or the busy school-age season, this study will encourage you to focus on long-term faithfulness over immediate results. Purposeful Parenting will meet September 2-December 9 in U260 from 6:30-7:30. Childcare provided as part of Midweek programming at Carmel Baptist Church!

We LOVE our leaders! All the fun we had at ROME-in’ Around VBS wouldn’t have been possible without the help of more than 200 student and adult leaders! If you taught in a classroom, traveled as a shepherd, led in a gym, served up snacks, acted onstage, pushed buggies of toddlers, or helped in countless other ways—THANK YOU! We’re still thinking about all the fun we had ROME-in’ Around at VBS last week! We hope your child has continued sharing memories from an epic week spent learning how the Good News of Jesus grows and goes! From worship and missions, to fun & games and snack…we loved every minute! CarmelKidz

Day 4 of VBS really made a splash! We learned that while Paul was in prison in Jerusalem, he asked to be taken to Rome for a trial. He survived a shipwreck and a venomous snake bite before finally making it to Rome! There, Paul strengthened the church, encouraged the believers, and preached boldly about Jesus to everyone. From Rome (the heart of the Roman Empire) the Good News continued to GO to many more people and places all over the world. And…the growing and going continues today! THANK YOU for ROME-in’ Around with us! It’s been a week full of fun, games, snacks, crafts, stories, songs, and—best of all—the Good News of Jesus!

Day 3 of VBS was another big ROME-in’ Around adventure! We learned that Paul and Silas visited Philippi where they were persecuted and put in prison. But instead of trying to escape or complaining about their suffering, they were singing and celebrating! Paul knew that God was using every single thing—good and bad—to help the Good News continue to grow and go! But would Paul ever make it to Rome? Join us tomorrow to find out!

We have loved seeing lots of “Postcards on the Go” being returned and dropped in our VBS mailbox this week! These postcards will be sent to encourage one of our missionary partners serving in the country of Georgia. If you haven’t already, write a note as a family on the postcard that came home with your child on Monday. Attach a picture (or have your child draw one!) Make sure to return it by tomorrow!!
