Welcome a new month, June! ā˜€ļø

Have you ever been to a grief workshop? It’s natural to have reservations, but here are three gentle, supportive activities we offer for individuals and families who attend.

A typical grief workshop includes:

1. Sharing and listening
Participants are invited (never pressured) to share their experiences or feelings while others listen without judgment. This creates a sense of connection and reminds people they’re not alone.

2. Guided reflection
Facilitators lead simple exercises / journaling, quiet reflection, or prompts to help attendees process emotions and memories in a safe, paced way.

3. Coping tools and support
We introduce practical strategies for navigating grief, such as breathing techniques, ways to handle difficult days, and meaningful ideas for honoring loved ones.

Overall, our workshops provide a calm, compassionate space focused on understanding, connection, and small steps forward. Contact ā¤ļøus to learn more.

We keep the grounds neat and welcoming through daily inspections and routine landscaping so lawns, beds, and walkways always look their best.

Trash and debris are removed promptly, and we conduct thorough cleanups after bad weather to ensure paths remain safe and accessible. After services, flowers, temporary decorations, and tributes are carefully gathered, organized, and removed in a timely manner to preserve order and dignity.

These efforts are coordinated to maintain a peaceful, respectful environment for every visit. ā¤ļø

We want to take a moment to recognize and truly appreciate our Office Manager, Pam Pedersen, who is the behind‑the‑scenes heart of our funeral home and cemetery offices. From coordinating schedules and managing paperwork to handling billing, compliance, and countless daily details, she keeps our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Most importantly, Pam supports our families with compassion, patience, and care during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Pam's dedication, organization, and calm presence make a meaningful difference for our staff and the families we serve. We are incredibly grateful for all she does.

We are here to help you find a tribute that feels personal and lasting.

Cinco de Mayo is a time of remembrance, resilience, and honoring heritage. While widely recognized for celebration, it also offers an opportunity to reflect on how cultures honor loved ones who have passed.

In many Mexican traditions, remembrance is deeply rooted in storytelling, family gatherings, and keeping memories alive through shared meals and meaningful symbols. These practices remind us that love continues beyond loss.

Today, we honor not only history, but the bonds we carry with those we miss.

We invite you to share your story with our social media community about your experience with our funeral home.

We understand this may not be easy. Grief is deeply personal, and putting those feelings into words can be difficult. But we have seen how powerful it can be when stories are shared—how the support of family, friends, and even kind strangers can bring comfort during life’s hardest moments.

If you feel comfortable, we would be honored to hear your story. Your voice may help someone else feel less alone.

Every memory shared keeps their spirit blooming. šŸ’™
