September can sometimes feel like a " new start," a reset... Maybe because of the new school year, or because we get back into a formal routine after the unhurried, spontaneous days of summer...
This month at Messy Church we will be learning about how God gives us new beginnings, leading us into new and wonderful ways.
Messy Church is a family friendly church experience, where we use creativity to explore important themes of the Bible; we start with a meal, end with worship and a message and have a lot of Christ-centered fun in the middle. Join us on September 16th at 6pm to fully explore how Isaiah 43:18-19 applies to us today.

Healing is on my mind, how about you? We all need some type of healing whether it is physical, emotional or spiritual. If Jesus can heal a woman after eighteen years of a disabling spirit, (Luke 13:10-14), then he can heal us if it is his will. Have faith, keep your eyes on him, be obedient and trust that his will be done. Come and lift one another up as we learn about His steadfast love this Sunday!

Have you ever felt like you needed another chance? Are you thinking about giving someone another chance? We will explore what Jesus has to say about second chances this Sunday. We will give you as many chances as necessary to have you come and join us at 10:25 am.

A meal, crafts, activities, conversation and a lesson about the extraordinary love of God through the story of the Prodigal Son. It is a church service for children and adults together, exploring the Bible and who God is.

We start at 6pm with food, our dorrs are open at 5:50pm. Everyone welcome!

In the small garden outside the church, a brand new bench now offers a quiet place to sit, contemplate, pray, and rest awhile, thanks to our very own Eagle Scout, Brighton Lam. Building the bench and caring for the flower garden were part of his Eagle Scout project, completing his years of service and helping him earn his Eagle Scout rank this fall. Brighton said, "This project taught me leadership skills and the importance of having a team to complete the project."

Thank you, Brighton, for creating such a beautiful, peaceful space for everyone to enjoy.

The mystery and wonder of the Christian faith is that Jesus, who did no wrong and never sinned, took our place and died on the cross to pay for OUR sins. This is so we can be seen as good, and clean when we stand before God at judgement time. The trap many fall into is to reject the free offering because of pride and non-acceptance that there is nothing anyone can do to gain true salvation except trust in Jesus.
Will you turn away from your sin and accept the mercy of Christ today?
