The Assumption of Our Lady into Heaven. 🤍✨

“And Mary was taken up into Heaven, body and soul.”

The Assumption is the beautiful promise that our life does not end on earth. Mary, who lived entirely for God, was taken into heavenly glory.

On November 1, 1950, Pope Pius XII solemnly proclaimed the dogma of the Assumption: Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was taken up into Heaven body and soul.

May Our Lady teach us to keep our eyes on Heaven and to walk each day toward God. 🌿
