Aren't you glad that God made room for Sundays in our lives? It has been a full and beautiful Sunday at MWMC.
What a joy to witness the baptism of two special people this morning. Our friend and neighbor, Jack, professed his faith in Christ and Cathy McCreery Winter also publicly declared her faith.
The morning service concluded with a Pastor Appreciation presentation, a card shower, and many hugs and words of gratitude. We've been blessed with two wonderful pastors. It was surely God's good guidance that led them both here. We love Pastor Gabriel Norris and Janet Susan Norris and their whole family! And we have grown to love and appreciate Associate Pastor Eron Miriye as well! These two men have earned our respect and love through their leadership and shepherding of our congregation and community.
And yet the day wasn't over! This afternoon many showed up to interact with our community. We passed out church information cards, children's tracts, New Testaments, tons of candy, fresh-popped popcorn, and apples to hundreds of neighborhood children and families. The gospel was shared with words and actions. Jesus is the Light of the World!
