Jesus said, โ€œI donโ€™t do anything unless I see my heavenly Father doing it.โ€ Everything Jesus said and did was based on his relationship UP with His Father. We are meant to have that same UP relationship with God the Father. IN โ€“ YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS
Jesus had a relationship IN with his disciples. He said, โ€œCome follow me and I will make you fishers of men.โ€ They followed and stayed with Him. Jesus saw them as more than disciples; He saw them as friends. He walked with them, ate with them, reflected as a group and engaged in dialogue. Everyone who believes in Jesus is part of โ€œHis Body.โ€ We are made to have a relationship IN with others in the Body of Christ. OUT โ€“ YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WORLD AROUND YOU
Jesus had a relationship OUT with the world. Jesus and his disciples went out to their wider community, letting their lives speak louder than words. We are made to be a part of Godโ€™s mission and are sent to serve and love people in Jesusโ€™ name. We are made to have loving relationships OUT with the world around us.

October is Pastor Appreciation Month and today we're highlight our Connections and Communications Director! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Adrian takes the lead with our connect points and all of our communication platforms to help people feel welcomed and find their place, from initial contact to full engagement within our church family.

Adrian is originally from North Carolina but now calls Massillon home, along with her dog Figgy, and cat Moses. She loves to cook and bake, and is always trying out a new craft or hobby.

Our staff team has grown this year, so we're getting โœŒ highlights this week for Pastor Appreciation Month!

Pastor Shawn joined our team this summer to champion our staff and leaders to discern and develop clear pathways towards discipleship, and help our church family take next steps in their faith.

Shawn has lived all over the country, but currently calls Lake Township home with his wife Jen, and their 3 teenagers. He's a fan of Pittsburg sports, spending time outdoors, and drinking coffee all day long.

Handcrafted is designed to help you recognize your unique purpose and personal calling with clarity and confidence. Throughout this course, weโ€™ll explore the questions we all ask: Who am I? Why am I here? Youโ€™ll gain insight and direction that goes deeper and feels more certain than any tool weโ€™ve used before.

October is Pastor Appreciation Month and we're kicking off the week with another staff highlight! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

You'll recognize Ashley as our Worship Leader on Sunday mornings, but her primary role is our Director of Operations. She leads our team in organization and helps manage the logistics of everything happening within our church. She's also been the lead throughout our Imagine More campaign and the current building project.

Ashley's favorite hobby is staying home where she loves to bake, read, watch movies, and spend time with her husband Nick, and their 4yr old son, Easton.

Jake has been the lead pastor of RiverTree Massillon since the fall of 2022. Under his leadership, our church has experienced some amazing growth as he pioneers our vision that we are made for more!

He has been married to his wife, Hannah, for 13 years and they have two young boys, Oliver and Isaac. Jake enjoys a round of golf and is a big fan of Ohio sports rooting for the Bengals, Buckeyes, and the Cavs!
